exactly 24 more hours until we hear Man of Oil, and less than two days until the whole thing!

Guys I got really baked last night and maybe this is just me being crazy but I swear I had an audio premonition of what this album will sound like...

I was hearing entirely produced and arranged AnCo songs in my head that don't even exist that we know of. Pretty sure I tapped into something last night...it was way too vivid. Sounded like a mix of SJ, ODDSAC and Campfire Songs. I was probably just high but god damn. I am stoked for this release.

[edit] Any confirmation that this will come with MP3 downloads? I am going to be working during RSD so I more than likely won't be able to grab a copy...really really REALLY want to hear this though.

The NTS radio premiere of Man of Oil this afternoon will be part of a 30-min mix by AC of "music from Brazil, music and field recordings from rainforests, electroacoustic/collage." Sounds cool although I hope we can tell which song is Man of Oil. I guess Avey's voice will be a tip-off, if he sings in it.

i've even contemplated waiting till the viceland tv thing airs in june so i can have a solid amount of visuals to associate with the sound of the record. but i don't think i'm hardcore enough to do that.
