i hadn't realized until now that there is a medium chance that a few Painting With songs that will happen within the set;
versions with Deakin and probably Panda on drums too!!
it will be interesting to find out if any CHz songs resurface now also, maybe as new arrangements!

Derek would be awesome. Same for anything from the latter half of Sung Tongs. Painting stuff would be pretty cool in this style, Chz less so imo. New town burn out and monkey man would be cool though.

on pw they played guys eyes, ended the medley, then started back up again with taste, completely avoiding connecting the two songs together. after that AND when they played bees in 2016 thats when i realized they are going to do whatever the fuck they want and it honestly scares me they might play only new songs and the only old song they bring back will be in the city that reads for some God forsaken reason

What was quite interesting about the last (mini) tour was that they didn't really rework anything, to the best of my memory. Played them all pretty faithfully. They were operating more like a regular band with all four members I felt. Wonder how that would have developed this year, in another reality

i actually think street flash is in the cards for the next tour. no lie. judging by the other songs that they brought back which iare pretty similar in song structure (on a highway, rev green) it can fit in rly well

notes: seems la rapet been floating around since 2013 for them to play and they got a whole band setup with a sit down kit and electric guitars so i think some magic might happen and avey played it solo. fireworks is just please. i like stride > fireworks for the kick in the gut ending of the main set.im surprised they havent bought back applesauce and pulleys 2019 proved they can fking jam on some centipede hz tongs and bring that frantic energy to the more mellower songs. defeat into cuckoo cuckoo would mentally destroy everyone in that venue and i would cry until my ducts couldnt do it no more. strangers into defeat is the way and i hope its like that on the album.

I’m advocating for any PW era track to pop up on a incoming tour cause I’d love to see how they’d rework it for a full band set up with keys, electric guitar and a sit down kit
