i swear to god the avey one sounds like the jackson five

the panda bear has more hocketing (ofc) but is kinda atonal and strange, probably like it more than some of his album cuts from this live one

Man, I was really hoping to see La Rapet on the setlist. But Bees, Loch Raven, and ALVIN FUCKING ROW??! No complaints!! Oh my god I am dying for next Friday when they come to Columbus. Anyone else gonna be there?

holy fuck just got back. kinda wanna go to nyc to see them again wowowowow.

so fucking good. new songs were on point and amazing and loch raven, daily routine, alvin row and bees were INSANE. fucking lost my mind it was so fucking awesome. all very euphoric and surpring and beautiul sounding. and the 2 new-new songs the played sounded fucking sick. one seemed panda led and one seemed avey-led so i figure its the single but could be other new ones. was fucking awesome. only complaint is On Delay was literally the only track i really wanted to see and they didnt play it but this setlist was insane so cant complain at all. wow. and an entirely different set than the one i saw during chz tour in nola. damn

ya alvin row. i thought i had passed out and was dreaming. like that is literally the last song we could expect. now it was pretty different in some parts and i guess it was like condensed but the ending was the exact same and it was incredible.

and loch raven like became a techno jam for a second. damn should i spoiler these? lol. it was insane..



set was really insane, they were all behind geo-type stands with synths and a bunch of shit with jeremy in the back drumming. was such a fucking cool set, felt like a massive jam. its like a heavier mpp type live sound. their vocals were awesome. geo fucking sang into a vocoder on golden gal it was glorious.

this was like some kind of crazy techno version of alvin row was kind of inense building up.... there were a lot of insane buildups. crazy bass. loch and bees and daily routine were such good space out jams

just got back too.

alvin row. and yeah daily routine crushed, floridada was awesome, loch raven was beautiful, bees was unexpected, burglars was fucking wild, vertical was so strange and goopy.

i dunno guys i think this might end up being one of their best tour theme/setups ever. ervy groovy, fluid, and i honestly just cant wait to see videos of them doing it differently every night.

was expecting something much different than i got, but was very happy with what i got regardless. y'all are gonna love it.

yeah dude it was perfect. the interlocking vocal stuff was pulled off really gracefully live.

the last 20 seconds or so were absolutely bonkers.

oh litg was way sweeter than i expected. it almost feels like their new brothersport or something... the jam at the end was really really cool. NS into hocus pocus was also a really good opener.

• Some songs that didnt click with me on the album were very good live
• avey looked mildly pissed the whole time. i get the feeling they couldnt hear themselves well

I recorded the entire show. The video looks FANTASTIC.... but the audio is only fair. I blame that mostly on the venue rather than my phone. Nontheless, I'll be uploading the whole show tomorrow. It was a blast to see them kick off a new tour.

As an added bonus I got to meet abby! she was so so sweet

also, Avey and Geo playin with the vocoder was awfully fun

I talked to Abby Portner for a sec after the show. She said she created the set design and visuals for the show. She was at the control booth all night. I wonder if she will be with them the whole tour. So awesome!!!
