guys, you know shaun totally made up the whole story right?
let's just talk about how awesome the principal real vocal melody for now. cause it is the best.
the chorus part where he goes from high to low is super cool. sounds like "chopped/screwed" vocals or something.
also the slow delay thing ("stay inside...side..side...side) that is all done live is so great.
First song in that video is my favorite so far. A slow fade into five or six minutes of nothing but those insistent string chords and that vocal melody would make a cool album opener IMO, with the minor chord at the end segueing into Principe Real although that's hella presumptuous to say when the songs are in their infancy and the album in question, which may or may not include those songs, might not come out until 50 minutes before the Sun swallows up the Earth. "You might say we're making songs, but we're really making noise..."

i wanna try to not over listen to these tho i swear...i seriously over listened to tomboy before it came out, found myself really bummed on the studio Surfer Hymn. The De Kreun, Kortrijk boot version with the long intro is my favorite version of the song...so i support the audio not being released...must refrain!!!
**all this is being said while I put the slasher flicks boot on for the first time, ugh

loving the new stuff. i hope a recording surfaces from somewhere, which would be nice to take along on bike rides. a lot of those youtube recordings of the set are only in one channel which is kinda painful to listen to on headphones

Yeah I love these songs but i always get frustrated listening to sketchy recordings on youtube, so I've been holding off a little bit.
Great pics! Are Noah wearing in ear monitors?
His on stage singing has been sounding better than ever as of late and I'm just curious if those are his secret..

does anyone know what GEAR he's using???!!
its sample based but it doesn't look like a boss sampler (or a couple) is his main machine. theres one with four inputs or outputs that he seems to be focusing on but that might just be a mixer, although it seems like his mixer is the one to the left http://www.flickr.com/photos/98108826@N ... /lightbox/

I might try and make this the only recent years AC release I haven't ruined by overplaying bootlegs...and yet, the MPP bootlegs were better than the album, so I'm not sure. Has anyone got any life tips?

He said just after Tomboy that he wanted to work with samples again but from different sources so I'm glad he stuck to that, can't wait to see how his material will progress over time.
