As a mathematics dropout it doesn't make sense to me either. I'm a bigger fan of two digit prime numbers, 29 and 73 in particular. I listened to an interesting podcast on prime numbers, they observed that Cicada migration patterns were on 7 year intervals, they theorized that predators were migrating on 5 year intervals so it was biologically beneficial bc they were running into predators a lot less often. I'm sure I'm mangling the details

Really hope it has late 2010 Panda Bear lyrics too, that whole "slapping up the cheeky whiff/quick doff to a cranky spliff/something revving up in a dodgy bog" mode he writes in a lot nowadays. (no offense noah, still love those jams)

it feels so unlikely out of context, in and of itself, but in the context of the ffm link/streaming services saying it will be available on 1/9 and it not having dropped yet, feels like the only way to explain why it hasn't dropped yet

Despite having been told it, I also think the 15th thing was wrong because music is always dropped on tue/wed/thur (by Domino at least), but the label person also said LP is dropping 02/17 so that lines up.

lol just got an email from the grey eagle at 6:30 in the morning with the headline “avey tare presale”, anyway so 7’s tour rolling around in late march (23rd specifically for AVL), presale thursday password STAYTUNED. and of course when i try and click on the link for the ticket page it doesn’t exist. somebody screwed up

Anything we heard from the source that said the 9th was a single drop is now moot. Can't imagine anything they say they had info on is correct unless it came from Avey directly.

for the 9th it was less of a source, moreso that that was the date that the ffm link was providing for when the music would be added to people's library, so i don't think it was the poster's fault, just that the site itself was wrong for some weird reason. they were the first to provide us with the album art and release date via the same link. all that, along with bandcamp being up briefly and then being taken down, the tour email going out early, whole thing seems pretty sloppy. all signs point to this stuff coming out imminently
