I had forgotten until I saw that video how the track dropped out at that one point. Anybody think that was on purpose for emphasis, or did he just hit the wrong button?
there was one point where he made some kind of mistake, and you could see it in his expression. kind of a "damnit" face. maybe that's the time you're talking about.

All this buzz about the tour is getting me real excited! What's more exciting for me is that I'm totally unfamiliar with the new jams, most of which i've never even heard, so I'll be experiencing them in the flesh for the first time in Toronto! C U there y'all!

this one dude, its the best one. becuz of this song, it is clear that panda is a grown ass man now. there is some new vibe in here. this is kind of like is Sheherezade went from the rookie/champion form it is to it's mega form

Perez totally threw a clip of his(or geologists?) bearded face from oddsac into the Vacuum visuals because they're rlly good, and he's like stamping it. it'd be sick if they release the album with the visuals a la slasher flicks. We'd get Panda/Avey with Perez/Abbey in one year..

really hope this album has like 15+ songs on it
also panda seems like an omnipresent/all-knowing immortal being when performing these songs. they're so well crafted and profound he's transcending human limitations

yeah the songs transcend time and space, it's only a matter of time before panda bear does too and becomes an immortal. I can definitely see it after he releases this in-the-works masterpiece haha.
I also wish the album had 15 songs plus, but I'm really doubting it at this point. if we're lucky we'll get the demos/outtakes/etc, like cosplay, from sonic bear to tide us over for the album.
still crossing my fingers that wazzup makes it in some form on the album. the press release said that all the samples are self-made, so even if he couldn't get the sample licensed he could still release a version without the sample. idk I never really thought it did much for the song anyways since it's so random.

It is indeed from ODDSAC, but it was first in People Party (during Good Girl) as was the footage of Noah drumming on the rocks.

i'm not not making a judgement about the song itself ya silly billy, just about the treble-heavy indistinguishable mess that is the youtube recording.
like i said, can't wait to hear it live on friday so i can finally understand what the hype is all about

the qual makes it hard for me to really figure out the track except for the vocal melody which is amazing. Anyone else kinda feel like the sound in vacuum sounds like the same tone from dark cloud but changed up na'mean? That like dirty sewer guitar sound?

There's a really sweet choir sound in other recordings which really gives the song more structure. I can't hear it as well in this one, which may mean he droned the song out or it's just the recording. I'm hoping for the latter!!

Noah told me he wasn't going to be playing any Tomboy stuff for APF but that he will probably bring it out for the rest of the dates. He also told me that Sonic Boom wasn't going to be there because he was currently mixing the record, but it's possible I misunderstood his response to my question.
Hopefully that is what Noah meant by his response.
