I have a story about this photo taken to promote the cows tour. I’m from Asheville, this was taken in a really weird “mall” here in Asheville. It’s been half abandoned probably since the 80s, and everything inside has that distinctive 80s mall feeling and aesthetic still. It’s really creepy. The last time I was there all that was left in business was a beauty school (since moved), a tailor, and a dollar store. And a ton of creepy locked storefronts that weirdly had items still in them, some of the creepiest being one that was filled with Christmas decor, and one that had porcelain swain statues (???). Just setting the scene here.
I attended that beauty school, so being in this mall was part of my daily routine for a little over a year. That staircase in the picture is in front of a door that leads down to the dollar store. I could usually be found sneaking away from school to get a snack, walking past that same spot several times a day, every day. This was 2 years ago, and I’m assuming that picture was taken sometime in the last year/year and a half?

I would have PASSED OUT. If I saw Avey fucking Tare sitting on that staircase lmao. Maybe half a year too early, but, daaaaamn.

There's a press photo from the Slasher Flicks era that was shot in a bar in LA that is in my neighborhood. I see Atiba there sometimes.

that's gotta be the photo on the a day with the homies record sleeve! i've always wondered what that image was, could never quite make out more than the arm. sweet to see it.
