specifically, Noah sings "I will not give up on you" and the other high part, and Dave sings the low whispered part that runs through the track "Cute red hood come walk with me, leave your roommate friend" etc

Fuck Hash, you just reminded me of how long its been since I listened to Campfire Songs. I think it's been since the end of last Spring.
TIME TO LOAD THAT UP AGAIN. I need to find Water Curses again, I lost it in a hard drive crash. You guys talking about Cobwebs reminded me.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe Panda sings lead on I Remember Learning How to Dive from the Other Music boot. Avey does harmonies but the "I had to go, to the end of the board" part is just Panda, I think.

Just wanted to point something else that some may not know...
Apparently, during AC's dj-set in San Francisco, the band played a version of "From a Beach". As well as a new Panda Bear song:
I don't think it was just sf but regardless...
And that's why you always check live discussion

Wish I was at that show lol. What kind of sets were Black Dice playing then, anyway? Was it their noise rock stuff or the trippy Beaches and Canyons material?
There's a great video of them playing live in 2001 here so I imagine the set was something like this.

I've been thinkin real hard about it, and I honestly feel that the Guys Eyes jams on the 08/09 tours are one of the highest achievements of Animal Collective's entire output, studio and live

yo u serious? you could be right. they got the kind of post-mpp/mainstream success reactionary albums out of the way chz/ttg/(oddsac), and it kind of feels like they could do anything at this point... (not that it doesn't always feel that way eh)

I wouldn't say Oddsac is "post-mainstream success" because they were already working on it well before the Merriweather hype started up.
That being said, I still agree that it feels like the band could go any direction now. It's almost a little scary, because even when they seem like they do have some sort of general direction that it seems they should head next, they usually go against our expectations and surprise us. But right now it's like I have no idea what to expect for the next album.
I for one would love an album with (almost) no drums, like Campfire Songs sort of

lol, i foresaw this comment, but included it anyway...but yeah, I can't really remember what I thought they might do after mpp/fbk, but kind of think that chz seems sort of like a progression from fbk sound, if only very vaguely... But yeah, now I have no idea.. except maybe acoustic-y, just cuz it's been so long. and that acoustic radio mini-set
could they even actually go full acoustic though? Like it seems like it'd be pretty strange if people went to an ac show in '15 and the guys were full on acoustic, and like I guess they could still play old songs, but it would all be so different than anything they've done live in the last 10 years nearly (not including avey/kria shows). it would be a huge shakeup... they need to do live acoustic guitars/pianos along with samplers.... could be awesome

im in love with the scream/yelly jam at the end of the old live daffy ducks. banshee beat and daffy duck both deserved a little yelling from avey in the studio i think. although i do love the hushed vibe of his vocals the way they are

The guys really go to and fro a lot places... In the flowers from a beach on a highway on a plain on holiday visiting friends in my pictures in the city that reads in photographs on a sound in the singing box on the lake inside a great stadium on the farm in St. Moritz around the sand mill at the jetty in Nautica for a world filled with fantasy on the window in the hospital in my hoff.
