Sonic, hope Panda is in good spirits after the recent tour news, I'm not among the folks who will miss out but the news still really gutted me. If we get boots/rehearsals or not I am very glad Reset is getting the true treat of a live audience

Was just the first shows , so we didn't plan to record , but I know there were desk recordings oif the first show & the venue rehearsal/line up day . No practice session recordings though . It sounds pristine live and much better for being thru a big system . Was fun to play it live . I think we might add more old jams too now these are undder trhe belt . Preakness & Comfy will be my votes love xp

That was a great set. The endings of Tropic and Everything's Been were super transportive. Sometimes I need that reminder to sit with a thought or pattern for a long time to be "inside" it, really felt that in those parts. Also, the claps were charming :- )) Last song got me nostalgic/emotional was really cool to see him sing it without the backing harmony parts. Shout out to Miguel for recording it!

It sounds like they re-sampled the samples for Bros? Both the tornados and cat stevens sample sound much more like the original recordings (like what they did for sampling in Reset). And the new sounds Boom is layering on top of it all, damnn. Very cool.

Maybe I'm just super hyped but that might be one of the best performances of Bros ive heard.

as reported in the Time Skiffs thread, there is indeed an Atmos/Spatial Audio mix of Reset on Apple Music right this second! it sounds HUGE

Pete, I don't know if you're still around at the moment but could you share if this is something you were involved with or is it perhaps automated by Apple Music? Cheers, and hope the live shows are going well for you guys.

Hey man , Sorry - Yeah , just taking a breather there after the first RESET live tests ,and working on the next part of the release . Something for the singers & musicians amongst us , of all ages ....

Yeah , we were involved .
The Atmos mixes were done by the awesome Emre Ramazanoglu in London under our direction . He's done a lot of these Atmos mixes & we deferred to his speciality knowledge .

It made more sense ecologically & socially to not travel unnecessarily to do it , so we did 3 separate listen / comment / tweak sessions in Lisbon at an Atmos facility here & we both approved the final version .
Everything we're trying to do has the same inbuilt aim of minimum impact versus maximum effect .

Thank you . It's important I think . To see a problem , recognise it and the continue without heeding would be sociopathic . I've been that guy & I inadvertently have been part of the problem , now I'm trying to be part of a solution . I have to tell you , it feels good....

I believe it's exclusive to Apple music for at least 6 months . I'm not sure about the binaural version ( I felt little effect from it ) but the full Atmos speaker system is the way to hear it if you have access to it .
