Its really great IMHO. An old campy japanese horror flick. The dude that directed it used to do TV advertisements so there are a lot of cheesy green screen effects. There are a lot of psychedelic moments throughout the film and could easily see the dudes being inspired by it. It's not very polished and could probably be considered "B-Movie" quality so don't go into expecting much. But I found it to be very creative and much more like an art film than a horror movie.

My favorite scenes include It's streaming on hulu under the criterion movie series.

kind of derailing & i don't mean to start any discussion about it but I'd like to point out the fact that most trailers show too much of the movie & you should never watch trailers (especially for movies you know you're gonna see) it also feels SO good to watch a movie without knowing much about it at all, it's really a pleasant surprise. i don't think im explaining it very well but just trust me lol
