What exactly were these remixes people were alluding to earlier in the thread? I missed the boat on that. Can someone jog my memory?

SB possibly alluded via his cryptic messages to some kind of remix thing between Panders and Sun Araw with a Sun Araw remix of The Preakness and a Panda remix of Horse Steppin

I remember someone posting something a while back that Sonic had talked to them about a Preakness single with a Sun Araw remix as a B side, so the fact that this has popped up twice now is enough to warrant speculation

Plus both songs are horse-themed.

ha....very good....
glad some of you can see trhe TOMBOY magic.......it's a mystery to me why the response was a tad muted...
PP is bitchin , as I think is YP too......but TB ? man.......those songs are the bomb......
i'll look into the Tomboy box lesslossless files 4 yous.....I think I said i'd ask after Tomboy box was done.....but I'll see what the deal is........the boxset has clearer mixes in my opinion - they're not noted as being differant as Noah did'nt wanna ream anyone , but they're all differant - constructed by running the vocals & the music as seperate elements and then recombining them . it add's a clarity not there in the Tomboy LP mixes ....
Cosplay was no spoiler ...... more an hors d'oevre.........something for the weekend....
expect the unexpected......
The preakness has been recorded a couple of times since the KEEP tape demo...
.....it's an awesome song......and has many lives.....not as many as a cat.....but less than a dog....
....like more than two.......... odds are still being weighed....silks measured and cut.....courses paced.....
heavy stuff......but all good things to those that weight .....
very xmas pk x

Just reminding everyone how fucking blessed we are to have Sonic Boom communicating with us directly on our otherwise pointless internet forum. Like seriously. Its fucking beautiful and amazing and a dream come true to be this close to such a hero to music. Even if it is just through a shitty internet forum. It is even more beautiful and amazing that such a hero to music is collaborating with one of our favorite modern artists.

We are not worthy, dudes. :geek: :smoking: :guitar:

That's what I think lately when listening to Tomboy. It's truly underrated. Also I don't understand why I couldn't rate it higher myself at the time of its release. It took time for me. Now it sounds splendid and extremely inspiring. I literally cry when I listen to Tomboy.

Can't wait for the new album. Surely this music will bring me a lot of joy and support.

i have some inklings as to the mutation, perhaps they'd be best expressed with loving assemblage...

pretty sure he's saying Cosplay isn't a 'spoiler' for the upcoming album, it is more of an appetizer/something to tide us over, so i guess cosplay won't be on the next album. as for expecting something for the weekend, i can't really tell where one thought ends and the next one begins so idk lol

Didn't he say that Cosplay was just a demo? Maybe its not a spoiler b/c the album version might be different!?!?

Hopefully SB means that something is planned for this weekend, not that Cosplay was a treat for the weekend when he sent it out. checking this forum compulsively is starting to become a problem, especially with finals coming up :P

Hey Sonic, I finally have something to ask...

When you two make it to Pioneertown, can you make sure it is deafening? Please make my ears bleed from pure joy. Thanks in advance.
