nvr liked how in those official lyrics it says "...i don't find it strange but I'm talking to you" instead of 'when'. like when he's talking to this one person, he doesn't mind the things that float in the back of my headspace. its so much better. so i think those lyrics are contestable

looking up the lyrics to avey's background vocals ('If I could just purge all the urges that I have and keep them for you') i think this is more about Noah banging one out constantly but wanting to pay special attention to his girly girl but he can't cos his hand is better

Realized today that the honeycomb single definitely has two of their best songs in a long while. not that any of it has been bad (it hasnt), but honeycomb/gotham are amazing

Agreed that Honeycomb/Gotham are great - definitely within the confines of conventional pop music (which some fans probably don't like) but the melodies and songwriting are great.

I will say though that I always thought the ending of Gotham was kinda lamebrain. Just this really hamfisted rhythm: DUN, DUN DUN-DUN-DUN ... DUN.

the backing vox/orchestral synths in the 2nd half of Gotham are amazing.

for their nxt album cycle, they should release more than just one non-lp single (not including the b-side). like 2-3 of them... or just release them all the time. non-lp singles are the best.... guess watercurses and people are kinda like that. And wwiws shoulda gotten its own single release maybe..

Yeah, idk abt when it came out, but I think if wwiws somehow got put on radio, ppl would rlly like it and it might even be popular. pretty dang poppy, and the cleanest vox they've ever done just about. Just imagine a radio edit to cut-off the amazing/essential 1st half. itd suck but that there is a dang good radio song. my girls should get put in top 40 circulation as well..
