what song is that beginning bit from --'so cool/cruel'? wasn't it the tail of a new song?
He sings that at the end of Triple Eye in the Barcelona boot.

it's interesting that he's putting tomboy material back into his set. wonder what some of us are gonna get to hear when he comes to the US in May

Nah but he's playing a couple festivals (sasquatch/austin psych) and a one-off show in brooklyn. hopefully he'll add a couple more!

I have dreamed of a Panda Bear sideshow in Australia for the past 2 AC tours. I know it's not how the guys usually do things but it seems like the only time we'll ever have Noah on our shores is with the rest of the band!

was he maybe only holding for it for the tomboy songs? n i have a suspicion he played the older songs bcos of their more ambient/droney vibes, whereas a lot of those beats would have maybe gone astray in that setting
and yes pbear come to oz

Did he play more Tomboy songs? I imagine he used the guitar for those tracks, though I'm not sure he ever used the guitar for Drone. If that is Sonic Boom on stage with him, I'd imagine he played the Tomboy songs because they're well experienced playing those songs together.
damn the new vids are amazing. take care sounds better than it ever has and the new stuff is incredible. hype hype hype psych psych psych fest fest fest

also did a slowed down version of afterburner. sounds sick.
seems to me like he changed the set quite a bit for this particular festival.

is this a new-new song? don't recognize from the ATP boot….
he played this one at barcelona and pitchfork i believe
Is this the vacuum cleaner song? It sounds a bit different, I'm not a fan of that stock dance beat that's been added in.
As for the new version of Afterburner, it sounds pretty awesome. Very atmospheric.

maybe the setlist was different because it was a lying down show? the tomboy songs he played are all chillers, esp. the versions of yccom & afterburner screwed (nt chopped) which sounded incredible, hopefully he'll play it again so we can get HQ recordings. if i saw him i would like to see all new things, i feel like i missed that era of AC...
also lol i would ask for my money back if he played s/t.

I retract my previous comment about the song being ruined by the dance beat.. This is probably my favorite song from the bunch, that vacuum cleaner makes me cry tears of joy.

Whats the name of that song with the dance beat coming in halfway? Did he play that at ATP or is it a new song? I really love it. Seems like a continuation of Take Care (is that what we're calling the "fill those spaces" song?)?
Speaking of which, Take Care, in my mind, feels like the centerpiece track of the album. It just swells with emotion. It was my favorite track off of the ATP boot and it sounds better than ever now.

he didn't play it at atp, but he did at all the other shows (it's called not too bad & one of them on the boots)
this recording is way different though
just going off what most people have been calling them, we've got:
wazzup
till i die
heart and soul
dark cloud
triple eye
take care
can't go back
shut up
do it
principe real
cosplay
one of them
mention
