I can’t get anyone to give me a solid yes they’ll go with me. Partner is burnt out on traveling as we did a lot this summer, and my friend who would want to go is starting a new job. I don’t really want to fly or drive alone but I might.

i wonder if they'd actually want to play much more than that, for the audiences sake, and their own... maybe after an intermission/encore break, yeah. not saying that it'd be a bad thing, especially seeing as its a specific event for AC fans and there'll definitely be alot of love in the room. but yeah that's a long show.

anyway i'm definitely not making it out there from Aus but am excited to hear recordings....

what other album would people be keen to hear them play in full ?? i'm gonna go for Feels

50 mins is not a long show. That is just a typically fest show run time. Avey is playing a 80 min solo show atm , but even so, most of their single shows are usually 80 to 90 mins ... So in all.. That's not a stretch by any means ...especially it being a one time show.

P.fork is probably having a difficult time finding bands who are willing to also play Sung Tongs in its entirety.

I'm looking for an extra as well.

Hi! I've been a long time lurker and probably met a handful of you at the Big Sur campout last year. I bought a pair of tickets to the Sung Tongs event but I'm in Oregon and I don't think I can swing the flights & accommodations. I sent meemo a DM but haven't heard back. So whats anyone thinking on if they'll do this at any other shows than the NY one? Its hard to believe that once they break out this material that they'll only do one set and then move on, know what i mean?

Regardless, I got my flight for this, just gotta snap up an air bnb a few blocks from the venue and im in there!

I feel the opposite way about it, it seems so unlikely for them to even play a show like this at all that a 2nd show seems impossible. They also just wrapped up the regular AC tour a little over a month ago and they probably want to focus more on solo material now. So I'm guessing this will just be a one off but I could be wrong

It’s one thing when they are integrating old songs in a set of new material, but playing sung tongs in full there is no way they’re gonna get some different setup and re-imagine the whole album. That would actually be pointless

i hope this is the case. in recent years we've heard full band versions of kids on holiday, sweet road, and we tigers, but w just avey and panda its gotta just be acoustic guitars right? i bet sweet road will be like the version we heard last tour. no way they're play that riff

bet they will have guitars but i bet there also be electronics as well, like how avey has some gear along with his acoustic/electric at shows rn. like i dont think it will be like the Other Music performance right down to the letter, but who really knows..
