I think he was talking about more recent centipede shows.

I've really been loving the July 2013 Danforth boot, which is all Panda songs except wide eyed. New Town -> My Girls is beautiful and sorta sad since Dave's voice was shot.

Could someone PM me the link for all of Deakin's live tracks? I remember there being a bundle link.

agreed.. not sure what avey is saying at the beginning of wwiws, but it sounds like 'rocket buffalo go', and even though it's very unlikely that's what he is saying, i like that that is what i hear.

Can someone point me to the best/most comprehensive deakin live recording/s? I found his snowball gallery set on grooveshark and it's so so great. Is there something better? Really makes me wish he would go for it

Secret Project Robot, New York, NY, USA

this is the only deakin material i listen to—very different form any of his other shows (or really any ac-related show except maybe Avey/Kria at Project Claire). stripped-down, just electric guitar and voice

hahahaha what the heck. I hadn't heard this set until your comment and I went and downloaded it.

Avey's "yeah, go, go, go, yeah go" literally made me crack up into a giggling mess. Don't know why, maybe cause it was so conflicting the melody sing songy stuff he was just doing. Or maybe cause he was supposed to have his "let's start the song's true intro now" cue be more obvious and they didn't get it till he said YEAH GO

shrug. But laughs!

Very good set, thanks for the heads up pals!

also, pretty sure they're saying 'bojangles' back and forth at the beginning of brother sport. this recording has some of my favorite live versions of these songs. from what i've listened to in boots and heard in person, that is.

i was searching around about a show i saw ac do in chicago in 2006 at the logan square auditorium to see if i could track down a setlist, and i found this blog post where the guy says he recorded the show: http://onabadtrip.blogspot.com/2008/05/ ... quare.html

granted, there were 2 shows that night, early and late, and he doesn't say which he went to, but it seems his link is down now and i dont see it on the list in the first post. does anyone have this show by chance?

updated the OP with the 3 new panda shows. i'm sticking with the original fan titles for now where applicable, but hopefully it won't matter for much longer because the actual record will come out soon (two-sails better reupload with official titles when that happens.........)

If someone wants to split it, be my guest. I personally think the audio is a bit more tolerable with the video along with it.

Actually, if someone is interested in splitting let me know I can send you my full quality copy. Youtube downgraded my video big time since its over a hour and I didn't split it.

go ahead and upload the audio somewhere if you can and i might get around to splitting this week. high-quality mp3 is fine, i'll use mp3splt to avoid a re-encoding

Is the Warsaw show generally the best recording for Panda Bears latest lives? I want one with mostly his new stuff and with decent quality.

Also, watching his lives from Union Transfer and these visuals are unreal. Love this stuff.

There's really only 3 good Panda recordings of the new material: ATP from last year (which you need to get if you haven't), Warsaw, Chicago. My Warsaw one has "Heart and Soul" and Chicago has "The Preakness" instead. The audio in the Chicago one is more distant just because of where it was recorded but the quality is still good. I would just check out both because there are nice, subtle differences in the performances that you can geek out on (ie: Dark Cloud).
