"I am bouncing ball, I am bouncing ball, I am bouncing ball" in Sweet Road.
The last word in each phrase in the first verse of Guys Eyes sounds like "fuck" to me.
"I really want to do just one thing my body wants to, fuck."
My brain alternates between hearing "I ran away with my gold sky", and "I ran away with my blue sky" in Ghost of Books
I'm not sure what the actual lyrics are for any of these.

I ran away with my ghost gal, I think, but that might be equally daft.

Okay the WORST one for me was, during Turn Into Something, during the chorus.
"and GAAAAWD is a good maaaaaan,"
and each time I'd just be thinking, "What the FUCK?" and I eventually looked it up and realized it was something different. I think of all their lyrics that one's the doozy.

Ok, this is not a lyric I misheard, but I've seen lyrics sites put the 2nd verse of bluish as "I'm getting rushed back on a whim, our purse gets ribbed." which makes no sense at all. This is the only lyric of MPP I haven't been able to figure out, does anyone know what the real line is?

No you can't count on me
No you can't count on me
I can't say I've "misheard" the lyrics to winters love because Noah's verse is so unintelligible at some points there's nothing to even here.. His verse feels ambiguous and mysterious to me. Also seems interesting that this is one of the only songs where they just switch rather than doing harmonies, meaning someone had to sing in a melody they didn't write... I'm guessing it's Noah because his phrasing seems unconfident and awkward in the song

I always heard the lyric as "No you can't count on me," too. i think it's an intentional homophonic play on words - "Know you can count on me" is a weird way of phrasing that sentiment, in a way that can easily be heard to mean the opposite. as far as Winters Love goes, Noah def wrote his verse and the melody, the boys said that the PW songs were the first time they wrote vocal parts for each other.
one thing I've been thinking about lately is who wrote Who Could Win a Rabbit. i realized that on Sung Tongs, Panda's voice is wayyyy louder than Avey's on that song, but the lyrics are signature Avey surrealism.

Actually, they are singing their own melodies, they just swap who's singing lyrics and who's vocalising

I hear "You're special, know the truth" most of the time, but I agree. But also I don't know if any of the lyrics for Slasher Flicks available online are legit- they don't really seem to be. But I obviously don't know.
I've been hearing my name in Goalkeeper, probably just because I'm self-centered. "Stephen dives as he blocks as he kicks as he throws"
