honestly, I feel like Avey's side would be what Terrestrial Tones would sound like if they still recorded together. so awesome

agree about avey's screams. they're especially good on this... in the beginning "always winter (YES YES YES) right before it transitions into that crazy shuffle....

love the structure and size of this thing. makes me think of some like orchestral work almost, and avey's doing this weird programmatic chanting thing. and there are like 3 or 4 movements maybe....

this makes me think of slasher flicks if it was just avey and no angel or jeremy + call home/ttg + parts that feel like references almost to all sorts of early AC shit

the last vocal part that he sings over bobby's loop is very reminiscent of Death Raga from DT tours. these songs feel like an ac mixtape, it'd be so sick if they start doing this regularly

there's totally enough sort-of obscure avey tracks floating around from recent era to make an lp out of... this obvs its own thing but could be part of some b-side/obscurities thing...

Stop depriving yourselves! They're quite old and nothing has happened and he's released a lot since then so these will likely mostly have the From A Beach fate. I hope I'm wrong but I think time has spoken.

This is amazing. I still say an Animal Collective/The Knife split or collaboration needs to happen. This song definitely reminds me of The Knife in a way. I was really hoping Slasher Flicks was originally going to be Avey Tare with The Knife. Would have been a funny play on words.
