Oof… hoping for the best for them and the crew. COVID hit me pretty hard for a while too so I only hope their recovery’s quick. Feel really bad for Spirit of the Beehive too, they’ve had some really bad luck in the last few months of touring.

Sent a message of wellness to Deak. He hearted it. My only concern is wondering if they're going to reschedule these shows at one point. This isn't the first time AnCo had to cornpill a tour due to a member being sick. Those shows in 2013 were rescheduled in the end. I wonder if these will be as well.

I hope they're doing okay. Being described as very sick does not sound good at all. Sorry to those that missed the shows :| yeah I remember the 2013 show I was supposed to go to being cornpilled, huge bummer

Wowwwwwwww. This kinda stings. I feel like somehow I knew this would happen or sumn... the spike was starting a week or so ago.

Been staying off here to avoid spoilers but now like. damn.... So glad I saw them in March. I know this must sting 100x worse for people who hadn't seen them earlier.

I was gonna see Denver and Kansas and like. I mean I was mostly driving to Kansas just for that show. I'll still go to hang with my cousin but wow

i hope they can get all the shows rescheduled soon, but I feel like it'll end up being at least next year at this point

but mostly hoping the boys have a quick recovery, that last IG post made it sound like they have it particularly bad and are cornpilling for the-illness-itself reasons even more than risk-of-spread reasons

Yeah its hard to picture when these reschedules could be. Feel bad for the guys, that must be the worst feeling in the world on top of likely pretty awful covid symptoms.

Maaaaaaaaaaan. Fuk. I teach and my last day is tomorrow and I was gonna go on this big AC double show week long adventure and like. I'm still gonna do everything I had planned just...without AC. I wouldn't have made these plans in the first place without them so shit silver lining I guess.

Very painful tho ;_;

I just can't do it tonight, mind/body are on the brink, need rest, might sleep 18 hours tonight

I'm already pissed about missing it but I need to be unconscious for as long as possible in the near future

On their website it looks like they rescheduled the San Francisco show to August 10 and the Portland show to August 11. Makes sense since this is right before they were going to be in Vancouver on the 12th.
I don't see them having any room in rescheduling the Colorado dates until September.

Omg also Florida shows. St Pete/ft lauderdale/Orlando on July 7-9. Those dates would be perfect for me

Weird bc they’re also supposed to play Mad Cool in Spain on July 9 so I’m a little apprehensive

Noah is going to do a solo AC set in Spain while the rest of them go to disney world.

ok ok cool, the Denver reschedule works fine for me (19th) and I'll make a call if I wanna double dip with Bellvue day before if there's still tickets.

I don't think I will be able to go to Kansas anymore later that week so I will mostly likely have 2 tickets to give away or sell for like 20 or sumn.

AC in July about as good as AC in May. This'll work. And now I have ac!d :metal

Has anyone been to the Mishawaka amphitheater in Bellevue, CO? I haven't seen them outside since Music Box, I think I def need to spring for that even tho I already have Denver tickets. Place looks sick.

Yeah man it looks crazy. Going to that one could almost justify the COVID delay for me... I wasn't gonna go to it in May since I already planned to see the next two shows (denver/kansas) and somehow I slept on how sick the venue looks but NOW I see the truth. Have to take a shuttle to it and shit.

Anyway yeah, super stoked about these reschedules. No longer the weekend but I'm a teacher so I'm off in July anyway. Litty way to begin the ending to summer.

lol yeah fa sho

everyone deserves live AC... I wonder if they might tour a bit in '23 too... I assume so? To like support Skiffs 2? Keep the good times rolling. I bet that's when we can actually count on a new phase for them starting but they're gonna enjoy the current vibe/instruments/set up as is for now, probably thru the Europe shows I assume at this point.

Yeah that venue looks real interesting, I never knew it existed.

Hoping I'm back in the state at the time and tickets don't sell out right away. Seeing them in an outdoor venue is on my bucket list

In that case I really, really hope they start workshoppin new stuff by then. I can imagine that touring and evolving the same material for 5 years must be taxing as hell. Either way, fun stuff for us ahead :smoking: .

Anyone know the best recording of Magicians? I've been bouncing between 930 club (the segue to WGB is *mwah*) and Blast Radio but would like to know if there's a higher quality recording out there for any of the years they've played it

And live Strung makes me think Avey sounds a lot like D Boon, esp the last half. Anyone else hear that?

I've been holding off of unreleased songs from the 2022 shows for now but plan on checking in on setlists before I see them in August having gone to two shows in the spring. I don't really expect these shows to be too different than they've been but July-August is the longest they've been on the road in a few years so I hope they get weird with it. Was listening to Derek the other day, would love to hear that one come back.

I gotta say Bluish is one of the best modern revamps of an older song they've ever done. It presents so perfectly as a lounge/exotica jam as if it always was that kind of song at its essence. Similar to how Loch Raven reached its potential as a euphoric trance piece in 2016.

Deak in a new interview says, in so many words, that he’s happy the recently cornpilled shows were all rescheduled. Wish that were true.
