Did you ever listen to flying lotus's rap alter ego, Captain Murphy? Also, I like the new Earl more than Kendrick. But I've never been into Kendrick so whatever.

Sweet!
New Kendrick is Kendrick Lamar's new album To Pimp a Butterfly. Do you listen to a lot of hip-hop, Pete?
! okey dokey !
remember , i'm just a visitor on this planet ....forever alien ....
..... i dont listen to a
lot of rap or hip hop ,
but mostly thru I dont like braggy stuff & fighty stuff....not that thats everything for sure i kno
I dug some trip-hop stuff in the '90's -Massive attack , Portishead , Dela Soul .
I dig some GFKilla- 12 'reasons to Die ' w Adrian Younge I really like from a couple of years back ......
I like Flying Lotus' vibe a lot ....been trying to track down the last EP I dont have ...that i listen to a fair amount in the right zon....
Otherwise i'm more old school Grandmaster Flash & The Sugarhill stuff . 'Scorpio' - stuff like that- i guess its hip hop ??
if you like Flying Lotus you'll like the new Kendrick!

That was the 1st thing my brother told me when he listened to 'To Pimp a Butterfly', It's a cool album and I think it's not that braggy when it comes about material things.

I gotta listen to Earl Sweatshirt's new album, I really liked 'Doris' along with A$AP Ferg 'Trap Lord' a lot in 2013 without mentioning Kanye & Drake, that year they killed it in the hip-hop game, even though they're more braggy and fighty dudes, not sure if you'd dig that stuff, Sonic, you might like the production side of it, though.
PS
I recommend you Mini Mansions' new album 'The Great Pretenders'

Only one offering any real competition for that spot in my heart is the Sufjan album.

I found this on the Domino Publishing blog (spoiler) and it seems as though instrumentals of the GR songs exist. Petek (or anybody in the know), I don't mean to sound GReedy, but is there any chance of procuring these instrumentals (in a proper fashion... not under the table dealings)? Just would be an great accomplice to the album.
And I know this is just slap-backing sentiments and echoing emotions already stated, but thanks so much PK for your work with PB and what you guys put into these Reaper era songs. After nearly three months of constant listening, the slices are only getting tastier and tastier (not to say they didn't taste wonderful on the first listen)! The 400% (I think you mentioned this number a while back) effort continues to reveal itself m ore each time. Wieder vielen dank!

It's nice to finally listen to the proper mix of Panda at Sirius XMU
I've been listening to those tracks since the tracklist was posted at the XMU facebook page.
I think Panda should join the guys for the DJ Sets, but I know the AC guys are doing it for fun and I bet Panda prefers to spend more time with his family, so if he can't join the guys, then more mixtapes will fix the damage
By the way what a cool DJ Set of AC at the U Street Music Hall, been listening to that right now. A couple of weeks ago I was into the Boiler Room Breakfast Show, but now Panda's Sirius XMU Mix and AC's U Street Music Hall DJ Set have been spinning on my iPod
I like the Animal Collective DJ project and even if someday they just stop doing these kind of shows, it would be cool if they just make mixtapes, they always pointing us on the good stuff. That goes for you too, pete, make more mixtapes or join the guys in the DJ Booth!
Happy Easter, Pete. Happy Easter, Y'all
PS
4/4/15 Greaper
4 is such a cool number, it's the sum of the 2 numbers of my favorite number: 13, 1+3 = 4
Not so good at riddles
