Well now that I think about it Safer probably isn't the best intro to AC. Show them every other song first, and then show them Safer.

I didn’t hear anything until the album was finished. We were super psyched about it, of course, so we sent it out everywhere that we really respected. Nobody wanted to put it out, so we did. Josh and I had manufactured an album of mine previously, but this album set us off on trying to always control our own destinies.

I'm guessing this is where the "our dogs ran away at the sounds of this record" comes in?

it could still maybe be in there. All we've heard is those little preview bits, and most of them are somewhat altered versions of the actual songs. I think its most likely that the sample is gone though, since the new version sounds super full like there might not be room for the sample anymore. I still kind of hope its mixed in there low or something tho!

First time poster here, but I wrote a review/appreciation of PBVSGR now that it's been about a month since the official release. Also, I've grown really annoyed with a lot of professional critics' reviews of the album, so I thought it'd be good to have one from a true fan.

Hope this isn't complete nerdstuff, but I was looking/gawking at the GR song spectrals and found something pretty interesting. On BBCM, there appear to be outlines of birthday candles at various points in the song. Have a look below. Suspiciously shaped silhouettes perhaps nodding to the song's title. Could this be deliberate av trickery á la "Windowlicker" style? Are there more subliminal nuggets within the album yet to be found?
