i goddamn love the single mix - version of the album. pete did some pretty good stuff on his versions of the mixes, but noah's original versions have just a little more magic or whatever.
its been a while since i listened to both versions, but im probably gonna listen to them again tonight when/if i get the chance and i'll try and post something worth reading if i get "inspired"

plus i think the tracklisting of the single mix version is better than the og version (but again, all this is just my opinion)

Yea and apparently Abyss Song was the soundtrack to a short film Danny Perez had made in college. What I wouldn't give to see that.
It was a song made for a project Abby was doing when she was at Parsons, hence the play-on-words of Abby's Song / Abyss Song.

I think it was all four of them... they played it live during the pre-Feels tour and it sounds the same as the studio version from what I can remember.

oddsac is one of those albums that seem really short when you listen to it because of the way its structured. sequencing is perfect

I watched ODDSAC everyday, multiple times a day the week it came out at home alone with my room mate's stereo so loud that the bass shook and vibrated his stuff off the shelves.

All I do is listen to odd sac. It just might be the most listened to AC album besides spirit. What a darn good album. Every song on there is perfect. Psychedelic masterminds they are.

Everytime I would show this when I was throwing a party it would shake my whole apartment and eventually I would get my apartments security knocking on my door telling me they were getting noise complaints from the neighbors below me. I think it might be the best sounding release of theirs.

Damn, choosing best opener and closer is so tough. AC does a marvelous job bookending its albums. Favorite opener is a tie between In the Flowers and Leaf House, and my favorite closer is probably Brother Sport (though Alvin Row is an oh-so-close #2).
Yeah that's been around around a bunch of places, suppose a music journalist must lurk here.

Panda seems to love the bud and I already met dave and he was so cool without the bud, so I'd have to say Panda cause I think it would lead to a really amazing conversation.
