Going down the Panda Bear Youtube boot spiral again...

One of my biggest regrets is not getting to see him live! Especially since he said hes planning on switching things up next time...

Last year the good people at Moog gave me the opportunity to mess around with their Subharmonicon synthesizer. Haven’t had a chance to do anything with this jam yet so thought this particular bandcamp friday would be a good one. Just a little something i recorded at home for your enjoyment. @belovedasheville are raising money to aid the unhoused by providing them with things like winter survival kits. It’s cold out there and lots of folks have nowhere to go. All the proceeds collected from this track will be donated to them. Hop on over to Bandcamp for some tunes and to support a good cause. As always hope everyone is staying safe, sane, and healthy out there. Much love to y’all

It was pretty good. Wish the vocals were a little clearer but it basically just seems like a demo he had lying around so it makes sense. The beat was great, loved the bass line.

I was listening to the Big Sur bootleg from 2019 and I realized that AC's new music sounds like a Hindu Renaissance Fair in New Orleans

Feel like everybody is sleeping on this new Avey track, I wasn't super impressed at first but after a couple more listens it's quickly grown on me and now it's hitting super hard. Beautiful emotional r&b vibes, that subharmonicon synth is so huge. Wish I could make out even one word of what he's singing but the delivery is super emotional and great. Idk maybe I'm just starved for new AC stuff during this wait for the next LP but this track is just really hitting the spot today.

Weird, someone on Reddit pointed out the Ark CD has a hidden credits sheet in the case. Has this been discovered already?

this is interesting, if completely indecipherable lol. Is it behind the cd tray?

EDIT: here's the thread https://old.reddit.com/r/AnimalCollecti ... on_ark_cd/

it is behind the cd tray, and someone had a crack at transcribing the text

So uh, somebody's pointed out there's a single by this band called Angel Du$t presumably with a Panda Bear remix of the song but it's not playable on Spotify. At first I thought it was a joke or a different Panda Bear, but them being from Baltimore gives it more legs. Hrmmm

this remix is great. it's almost like him realizing the whole playing with a normal band that he mentioned wanting to do live sometime.

low-key wish avey and pb did another duo solo album instead of ADWTH/COHGP. Daft Punk/Suicide cum nightmare, Uncle Donut and Part of the Math on the same album could you imagine

Campfire songs vinyl release fantasy: brown card part of the art is LP sized but white portion is identical to the CD release, so it looks tiny

oh, yeah I have the CD (it was among the first albums of theirs I bought, and the first one I listened to) and didn't realise this was some exclusive thing. I remember trying to decipher it way back in the day
