MPP isn't formulaic of pop- the sounds were typical to house music i guess but i like the idea of an avant-guard opening new doors and then kinda becoming the paradigm

I totally agree with picking a direction. Either go full on accessible pop or just get completely weird.

Only good quality recordings are from Avey boots (2011), band version showed up in DJ shows but none of the sets that they streamed

panda is going in red hot with all the funky grim reaper stuff. i thought the pop sensibilities of slasher flicks was phenominal, just didnt care for the production too much, but the material was amazing. having no deakin makes me think this will be more loop based and funky but they obviously aren't going to retread MPP territory. should be shit hot.

I did it. I did the thing. So groovy and murky. Would not mind it being influenced by that . I think I got LA Woman vibes because that's the album by the doors that was recorded/mixed by the band. And there was talk of that for AC X
