Awesome video! I love putting visuals to what we've read in interviews.

Also makes me hope we get Panda content once a week for the rest of the year lol

I replayed the part in the car like 5 times because it made me laugh and we got a lil noah voice action

the whole vid reminded me of chilling with my friends and it felt personal and fun. what a great idea. (also, pete, I love that yer reppin the maryland flag pbear shirt.. yessss baltimore)

I really connect with noah's idea of times coming to an end and not seeing that as a bad thing. (the part where they're in the lift ride) I've always thought and dreamed and imagined mortality as a peaceful nonthreatening thing.. something we're all connected to and shouldn't think of as 'dark' or 'morbid'. like he says in the vid, death from the perspective of the world is just an agent of change and should be no more than that. I mean it's sad on a personal level, but when you accept your own passing as a part of life and part of the world there's no need to panic about it. it does bring change to the world in a neutral way.

Aw couldnt help but hold a smile throughout the whole video.
Very refreshing getting a peek behind the curtain.
All the goodies we're receiving throughout this album cycle just make pbvsgr a leg above the rest!

I don't think so...hence the not being able to embed

Technically they're "gifv"s—a format created by imgur that loads faster than regular gifs

I thought he was speaking of the passing of the human race in that part! as in Planet of the Apes style!
which is, to me, undeniably morbid.

he is. and so was I! my point was that I don't think it is morbid but only natural, like noah was saying.

not gonna lie it made me sad when he said that he was trying to write lyrics that everyone could relate to and wasn't just talking about himself all the time

when person pitch was brilliant partly because he WAS talking about himself, and his listeners could take his words and apply them to their own life in as many different ways as they could. i just started a new, challenging job and i listened to person pitch a LOT while i was training and doubting myself... i'm not ready for this, but if ever i could be... i'm not about to have a kid and be a father or anything that he was actually talking about, but it still applied to me nonetheless. by talking about himself, he was also talking about me, and all of the other animals who listen that identify with him the way that it's possible to..

i think the impersonal lyrics do not benefit someone who is so fucking good at taking people into a personal headspace the way he can. i think he's just uncomfortable talking about himself (even though he does it effortlessly in interviews, he has very self-aware and seems to have pre head-rehersed answers to some of the questions) and somehow that thought turned into, hey, if i don't like talking about myself the listeners don't like it either... that's not the case noah :(

well he also said all the songs started out discussing personal things, but he was consciously trying to make them about broader subjects as well.

yeah which is probably why they ended up the way they did... some songs the lyrics go great with the music, other times they really have nothing to relate to... i thought boys latin was an example of a song where the lyrics feel inorganic and contrived even though the song itself sounds awesome.

It seems like Sonic said the EP won't be coming out til the fall. At least that's what I interpreted this to mean:

Get it? It's like the title of that one EP by that one band.

So I wonder if this Boys Latin single will have a b-side at all

yeah I think cosplay as a b-side seems pretty likely. it'd be weird if there was nothing new with it since boys latin got like a full itunes single release already didn't it? with the sea squirt artwork

That's what I'm saying though, I don't think it's likely just because Cosplay was one of the songs that Sonic said still required some final mixing touches. Even though he posted a pic of him mixing, he said we'll probably have to wait until the fall for new stuff

This is all just speculation on my part but I'm just saying I don't think it's likely that Cosplay will be ready by March, so maybe it's best not to get our hopes up so soon

gotta be a b-side. would make no sense to release something that was already released prior to the album that people could buy/stream/download with their pre-order.

for what its worth boys latin with the music video artwork is gone from iTunes

took the words right from me, this is my guess and I think it's most likely

I still find the announcement of a Boys Latin single really weird considering it was a single in December

I wish it was a Crosswords single.
After lots of thought I've come to the conclusion that Boys Latin is the weakest cut from the album in my opinion.
Still excited if this is a 7" though! I'll probably still buy it lol
