Interesting "review" from the Atlantic that I actually really enjoyed reading: http://www.theatlantic.com/entertainmen ... es/384470/

The Greaper is only actually mentioned in a couple of paragraphs towards the end. Mostly it's just an opinion piece about how music is one of the most subjective art forms and how even the most eclectic listener should be ok with not liking everything.

Great read. I really liked it even though the writer doesn't like Person Pitch :)

Definitely gonna try going to the Asheville show. That's the closest one and it's still an 8 hour drive for me.

Share the wealth, you hairy Japanese bastards!

Father Ted reference.

Motorik mix does make me think of that thumping pulse from the live version.

Make it so!

Correct if I'm wrong, but isn't the Asheville show most likely the final show of the Greaper era?

Since he's said multiple times that he'd like to focus on AC, I have a feeling this is the last tour announcement that's coming

with about a 1:10 left in Come to Your Senses, do you all hear little clicks/clips? it's the tiniest little click of a track being cut off or something. it's not a big deal.. just wondering if i'm crazy. i'm listening to the 24bit version

okay so i tried recording the boiler room set using audacity and there's way too many blips and buffering pauses to listen to it.... so, is anyone else ripping this? cause it aint workin 4 me.

I have both the video and audio recorded and synced. The quality is pretty damn good considering the circuit-stance, save for a little blurriness when the strobes are going off and some black banding here/there. I'll have a relatively large ass mov file that I can give to those who would like it.

Awesome! I definitely want a video file if ya don't mind!!

:metal

I had a hard time watching the stream with it skipping every minute or so, would love a copy

Also very excited to hopefully get my copy of GR soon

I've created a separate thread for the video file. PM if you would like the download link.

No way. Google Maps tells us to kayak across the Pacific every time we need these special releases from Japan ;)

I think I know what you're talking about, I think it's part of a weird sound effect but it seems a bit misguided

This may be a bit early but i know many people have heard the album and songs themselves for a while now; i'll try to participate once i have heard the album... but, if you were to taste or eat a spice or herb during each song that seemed like it matched the song, which would they be? it is kind of like asking which colors each song creates, but inside out.

I hope not but I'm gonna assume so. He's toured this stuff for a long time now. There's a weird gap between the last California shows and the two Villes on the East Coast, so maybe we'll get something in there but I doubt it. Which is disappointing there is actually no way I could ever make it to either of those shows

Posted this on the last page. I actually really liked it. But obviously yes it is more about the writer than it is about PB.

When that Atlantic piece got published earlier today, it said that his new album was titled Panda Bear Vs Satan. It was an error (they fixed it now) but I was hoping it was a joke cause I thought it was hilarious

my girlfriend's 3xLP/shirt/lithograph package got stolen right off her doorstep, Domino hasn't responded to the straight up five emails we've sent them and it's kinda aggravating having those same packages out here in local stores
