I got my preorder this morning and was a little bummed because I didn't get a lithograph in mine! I know it sold out recently but I preordered mine the night it went up. I sent a message into the Animal Collective store but haven't got a response yet. I hope they're not all spoken for already so I can get one. Did this happen to anyone else?

Come to Your Senses is a PB career highlight. God damn. That intro is devastating, and the production throughout is astounding. Could listen to it on repeat forever
right? When I tried listened to PBVSGR the whole way through for the first time, I found myself stuck on Come to Your Senses and I listened to it like 4 times before I could convince myself to grab the other vinyl.
also, I noticed a lot of cool vocal effect craziness on Nadir that I hadn't noticed before. I might just be imagining it, but I think PK said something about subtle differences between the cd/files and the vinyls and if so, it was definitely noticeable with Nadir in particular... the end of Sequential Circuits also sounded a bit different to me as well.

What I love about the intro to Come to Your Senses is how the main vocal part starts low then goes high, and then high then low the second time. Meanwhile, the backup harmonies are doing the opposite. It makes for a really psychedelic contrast. So sick. The attention to detail is wowsome.

A few weeks ago they said the lithographs sold out so Dallou you probably won't get one. Magpie that's super weird if you preordered it the night everything was announced.

I bought the regular LP (I already preordered the deluxe) today at my local record store and checked the discs, written in the lead out grooves there are hidden little messages from Sonic! I'd upload pics but I don't have a very good camera and the lighting sux in my room. If anyone reading this has the deluxe, I'm curious if the Mr Noah EP has anything as well! Anyway, here's what they say:
Side 1: ".....morning.....!"
Side 2: "a quimbo holiday"
Side 3: "something for the weakened, sir...?"
Side 4: "para os amigos und familien, toutes en rondo......"
i dont know if anyone answered you, but mine say "turnover" and "the OTHER side of paradise" on mr noah.
pretty cool

Hi guys, long time lurker here(since the first Tomboy boots).
I was wondering if anyone can help me contact PK directly. I know he's on here and would love to ask him something without having to go off-topic here.
I'd also like to add that Grim Reaper has amazed me. This time around I stayed away from the boots and my first few listens have been a thrilling experience.
Cheers!

So the press release claims that PB will be playing material from both Tomboy and Person Pitch at today's MoMa show. What are the chances that's actually true?
I'm cool with him playing whatever he feels like, just don't wanna get myself psyched to hear PP material and then get disappointed.

Hope it's true. I'm just so jazzed for it either way.
Anyone recording it?

I wouldn't be surprised if he throws in Ponytail or Comfy, just because those are the two songs from Person Pitch he's played a ton over the past few years. Something else from PP would be out of this world though...
We'll record it just as a safeguard but since the show is streaming online today and for 3 days after, a rip (assuming it will be high quality) will be the recording we listen to.

lol, so i realized yesterday that i did something really dumb... i live in the US and pre-ordered my copy through the UK store. sssooooo i ended up spending a lot on shipping, and hopefully mine gets here soon. i did find out my copy shipped on january 5th tho!!
guess that happens when you have a marijuana moment, and get super excited about the pre-order going up so you get it immediately and don't pay attention to anything else. maybe this is why some of us didn't get an e-mail notification? idk, oh well. it will get here soon enough.

hey, I've been lurking this thread since around last year - never bothered to sign up until now, but I did a little review of the album for my college paper and thought I'd share it:
really looking forward to this.. what do you reckon the chances are he'll play poppadom, jabbawocky, old Faces etc.?

you never know with noah, but i feel like it's unlikely, especially if the set really does include songs from pp/tomboy. i'm really hoping for live versions of lonely wanderer and acid wash more than anything else

oh wow, thank you for the praise! Seriously means a lot. Both you and Noah pushed this one into new realms. As for the screen name, thanks! It's from an old PiL b-side.

Just want to say this roll out was fun and I loved the interaction! Could not have imagined this is how it would end almost two years ago. Everything about this project was massive. The early sets, the visuals, the sites, merch, music, etc. Really felt like I lived with this record for a long time. Cool experience!

So excited for the stream! I think It's perfect to celebrate the release this way! Got really inspired by this record and the live show in Chicago intensely haunted my consciousness all summer and fall both auditorily and visually(in the best way). Even though I haven't been able to come to the forum often, it's great to be surprised with all of the further details everyone has been able to find, the live boots and covers I have been able to listen to, and of course sonic's riddles and wonderful tidbits of information surrounding the album and everything else.
Got my record in the mail a couple days ago and love it from every aspect. I thought it couldn't get better than Tomboy Box Set!
Thanks to everyone here and Happy Album Release Sonic Boom, Danny Perez, everyone involved with the record/tour, and of course Panda Bear!
