Yeah see I ordered the CD in like November some time, and it came today. Then I got a record player for my birthday, ordered the vinyl sometime in early December. I haven't even gotten a shipping notification. Should I be worried or do they ship by date ordered and they just haven't gotten to my date yet? I'm worried I fucked up the order or something

that one song Coldplay sounds like if brian wilson smoked weed. It's like if the beach boys smoked a fat blunt (marijuana cigar) and sang 4 part harmonies about getting real stoned. You have to wonder if the beach boys really did get high? what would it sound like?
You REALLY need to update your understanding of the Beach Boys.
Get the Smile Sessions...I find the Brian Wilson ones to be a little more psychedelic than the full-band version of the late 60's, but if you prefer the youthful sounding Beach Boys try the original one. Super fucking cool stuff, man.

One thing I love about the drum breaks is that every song has a different drum sound. The snare sounds on crosswords, mr noah, ctys, and principe real are all so distinct.

Come to Your Senses is a PB career highlight. God damn. That intro is devastating, and the production throughout is astounding. Could listen to it on repeat forever
right? When I tried listened to PBVSGR the whole way through for the first time, I found myself stuck on Come to Your Senses and I listened to it like 4 times before I could convince myself to grab the other vinyl.
also, I noticed a lot of cool vocal effect craziness on Nadir that I hadn't noticed before. I might just be imagining it, but I think PK said something about subtle differences between the cd/files and the vinyls and if so, it was definitely noticeable with Nadir in particular... the end of Sequential Circuits also sounded a bit different to me as well.

seems like the lyrics were thrown in last minute??? any stories about that sonic? I know you've been a big proponent of getting noah to include the lyrics, was this something that you guys changed your decision on?
or has he already addressed this??

Yeah - it was a fuka just to shoe horn the info in .....
Hence the extra sheet with noahtes ....
They were gonna get dropped cos of space at one point , but Domino
wanted it to be a goldilox zon and a special thing for you so they suggested the insert for those bits.
We wanted to thank the instrument makers who 's gear we used & who supported us .
And there were a fair amount of other credits for instruments , samples & the engineers & studios .
they decided to do the pre order litho with
one of Marco Papiros juicers a bit later , so ....
we got a chance to include the lyrics .....
Psyched u dig the preorders
Very Christmas !
Morning ! Pk
