I think so, I've been wondering what the sample was for ages. Thanks Boneyardfriend!

Lol snowtire, I don't think Deakin can sound like that anyway.

He is supposed to sing somewhere on Safer though but I'm not exactly sure where it is. I'm guessing it's the really low pitch-shifted vocals in the first part.

Wow great find! I have been wondering for so long thanks!

And Deakin's vox on the song are the part at the end I think. Where its like "da dee dee eee ee eee" or something if you know what I mean.

He's probably present in the harmonies during the sometimes! part too. Just my guesses.

yeah but even the shaker is in their at the perfect time at 1:20

it was probably slowed down a bit too if I remember the recording of Safer.

I don't know why anyone thinks it's Deakin. It sounds nothing like him and it repeats for nearly the rest of the song once it starts. Watch this vid at 6:50, he's clearly not singing it

yeah its clearly not deak on the main sample. But like I said earlier in the post, there are some very quiet vox at the end of the song that might be deak(on the studio version).
