i don't wanna be an opinionated olaf but i dont know if reset danger can even come close to 2021 danger. that shit was perfect... im sad its not on the record. but the madrid one was such a different vibe... much airier. well actually the dub version of reset was lit too. and everyday on the dub record. i wish he put the 2021 token on this album as well. that might be one of my favorite songs by him. atleast renditions. i forgot what i was talking about

Love Defense! Been listening all day, can't wait to snag a copy Friday. I am a huge fan of Cindy Lee, it was a nice surprise to hear their work on this song, it just makes sense and I was grinning ear to ear as soon as I heard their guitar work come into the song. I'm really hoping that this isn't the only song to feature them, would be awesome and compliment well with Panda's direction for their work to be all over the album. So excited to hear the rest of this and what all the other featured contributions add to it.

"Defense" thoughts:

1. I can already tell these lyrics and this vibe are going to hit extra hard after the 40 minutes of music that precede it. Feels like a pretty emotional song on its own. Great closing song vibes.

2. Cindy Lee's guitars and his solo are my favorite parts of the song. This may seem like a slight indictment on PB but Cindy Lee has made my favorite album of the decade, so it speaks more to how much I love his stuff than anything.

3. This feels like a logical follow-up to Buoys. Kinda wild that this is coming six years later but still feels / retains the vibe from 2021. Shows that Noah had a vision for this record and felt really strongly about it even as years passed by.

Excited for Friday to hear the B-side on vinyl (router issues I guess, couldn't access the slsk).

maybe unpopular opinion but there has not been a good panda shirt since the tomboy swoop neck. weird too because panda has style. has friends in the streetwear fashion world. just rivkas painting on a black t woulda been cool. instead we just get these 2012 urban outfitters designs.

VT sounds great, hope we get it in HQ eventually. the bass on this and Defense sounds full and good. i know deak helped record this, but i also saw heba kadry mixed this and i love what she did on skiffs and (moreso) IIN. the spacemen 3-ish bit at the end is real nice
