Avey keeps posting very enticing little audio clips in his story. Anybody know what it is?

Takeaways from the avey tare/superflower interview:
- avey created DOSed so that he can put out material faster than he can on Domino
- there are more "surprises" coming from the AC camp this year (likely solo projects)
- plans to record the songs he played on the woods tour
- Portals IG videos are just his way of making art without the commercialized aspect to it
- video of cassette with the band Sham is just a jam that they did for fun but "who knows" what will come of it
- was inspired by Reich for the piano on the fast lea ep (someone made that connection in the fast lea thread, nailed it)
- fast lea won't be available digitally any time soon because of contractual obligations with Domino
- sinister grift videos on Noah's Twitter might not be from sinister grift at all and just might be panda "having fun"

Wow, this is kind of massive news!?!? Basically a way for the boys to release more music in between the "main" releases Domino will put out? Incredibly exciting.

And that maybe the Noah snippets he's teasing is new music that he'll release before SG?? Great news.

edit - just listened to the interview and it definitely was interesting how Avey went from "nah, no more surprises" to "oh ya, there's some solo surprises coming" ha, that's cool.

Love you guys, you're great down to earth, personable and knowledgeable interviewers and I always love when you throw your deep cuts knowledge in there, haha. Well done!

Where's this full interview? Pretty cool bits of info there. I feel like the side label is long overdue, pretty similar to Sonic Youth with the SYR stuff which they started at a similar point in their career.

I really, really love the songs on Time Skiffs, but there’s something about the recording that irks me. It sounds too round, too full, too hygienic maybe. Was it Brian who said they were going for a “scraping metal” vibe (or something like that) on the record? I wish they’d really played that up, wish they’d gone really mental with the metal thing. Really harsh, ugly frequencies like on Danse. And the wonky AutoTune. Wish they’d kept more of it. It really was weird! Guess I’m saying Skiffs coulda been, for the better, a lot weirder.
