yes but only a very short clip of the “sun’s no better off lately” line. Also played alongside early versions of passerby and Cherokee. I’ll see if I can find them

"clubs" in the title gives me acoustic guitar vibes, slight possibility now with the sound of the string pluck at the end of SC's outro. Complete wishful thinking I know but a 2 minute acoustic tune could be a perfect final breath before the album lays to rest with kings

I feel like they alway save an "outlier" for the penultimate track slot. WGB, Pulleys, No More Runnin, Golden Gal, hell even Loch Raven and Cuckoo Cuckoo... each one kind of switches up the momentum of the album, a last curve ball before the closer. Makes me excited that it's the mystery slot this time around.

tbh even slippi kinda fits into this analysis, never really thought about it before but this is a very true assessment

ya my buddy that went with me to the Sung Tong tour didn't realize that sea light is genies open. I had to show him lol ..

I hope they announce a tour when the album drops.. it's weird that Avey n PB both still have tour dates while dropping arguably their best LP in the last 10 years

Can't think of any other time in all my history of music listening where I've had roughly 5ish years of knowing all the songs on an upcoming album... I don't think stuff like this happens most bands. cannot wait to hear magicians outro in crisp HQ, it's gonna bring me to tears...
