Daft Punk would be amazing but that might negate the "not big commercially" thing haha. Does sound very Digital Love to my ears though.

I dont think its daft punk, "one off a la Doin It Right" would eliminate them as an option, no?

Might not be daft punk but maybe one of the daft punk guys solo albums? I guess that'd technically constitute a comeback since they haven't released any solo output in a long time. regardless I'm hype for whoever it is!

Underworld? Leftfield? Orbital? Any of those would be crazy but they're all fairly successful commercially (I think?) so who knows

Yeah, something like that, Chems as I said. They've all done stuff with indie/rock/alt vocalists.

I'm gonna second Aphex Twin, if only to help in manifesting it to be true.

Singular artist? If it’s like Digital Love I’m thinking potentially American. Todd Edwards? Or maybe even a Detroit artist… labels like Underground Resistance are pretty active as of late.

Aphex Twin fellows right behind AC as my favorite musical act...using all of my brainpower to manifest it too

not gonna be aphex twin, come on now. he's never had guest vocals and could only extremely loosely veered into "poppier" territory

Edd Todwards chopping up Panda Bear into some warped celestial melodies would be incredible, but he's never released a pop song outside of his own DP features. I love the idea, though.

I am 100% aware but I'm willing to pretend to believe that the idea is in any way rational

Fuck me. Braxe and DJ Falcon. Year 2000 me is going mental.
It took PB to bring DJF out of retirement. The guy hasn't put his name to anything in two decades.
It's actually pretty good too. Sounds like a fairly standard B-tier Braxe production but really elevated by Noah's vocals. Bizarre that this even exists.

Mentioned in the comments but if anyone never heard The Paradise - In Love With You, also produced by Braxe on Vulture, this seems to be channeling a bit of that to me.

Kind of shows how little Braxe has evolved in twenty years but OK.

Really like the lyrics on this, feels refreshingly straightforward and not too bogged down in oddball metaphors.

I just cranked this in the car and it's got some classic Braxian bassline counter melodies going on, and those pads are pure weepy MDMA vibes. PB vocal melody is absolutely great, such a grower, I really think this deserves to be a SMASH HIT.
I love it. This and Elden Ring in one day
It should have been on Time Skiffs, I'm going to swap it for SWE. Transition from PJ outro into French radio DJ announcement is an improvement.

Took a lot not to say how close you were hehe. Hope you guys are enjoying as much as I've been.
There's a 12" extended version of the track too. And a full EP to come, which bops.

This is amazing news. This is the best Braxe has done since maybe Rubicon, and I prefer it to that. Got a real Lovelost vibe.

Durrr only just remembered Alan Braxe and DJ Falcon are cousins. Here's another track from the EP, sounds like Honeymoon from the DJ Falcon EP on Roule mixed with Crescendolls. This is great!

Fuck me this is great. I been listening to a lot of Le Knight Club and Crydamoure and Roule shit recently, I forgot how much I loved it and missed that insane euphoric warmth. Used to be completely insanely obsessed with those records, like even more than AC in a way maybe because I was a kid instead of a grown man feeling like a kid.
I did not know I was ready for a French House OG renaissance but I am absolutely buzzing here in the corpo abbatoir at 7am.
