I am going through and splitting tracks, added some AI de-noising and a bit of de-reverbing as it sounds like there might be some room reverb on this that was not intended for recording. Also putting some minor EQ on this to bring out the mid-high end, and finally some limiting to boost the overall dynamics and loudness. It's maxing around -3 DB so should have zero clipping adding. Let me know if you want it.
[edit] May do a rough edit and then another one where I compare the singles released with spectral analysis and get the overall RIP to match as closely as I can to those.

Surprised at how different a lot of these are to the live versions. Prester John is the only one that seemed to play it completely straight both versions

much as i hate to fret over changes from '19->'21 yeah that original passerby melody just feels clearly stronger, kind of a baffling change but whatever

It's classic animal collective to arbitrarily butcher one of their best songs just because
After a couple of listens I actually really like what they've done to it though, so joke's on them! Hahaha

Vocals on this feel more emotive than anything since SJ to me.
Also love that fuckin GONNNNGGG or whatever on the burning sun shittttt
I don't know why they changed the Passerby melody but I've just listened like five times to the first half and I'm getting into it

Wow, dude. I'd love a copy of your hard work, I may wait but it always nice to have CA stuff for nostalgic purposes. Still own MPP's Vinyl rip on CD.

Quite a long time since I shed a tear listening to Animal Collective

RRRR (real recognise real 4 real)
Last night I watched love story with my wife for the first time and cried for about an hour together, might just listen to this again a couple of times and get a new PB

lol can't believe the "eeee-eeeeee" in passerby made it in

Damn. New passer-by is definitely good, but idk if I can fully let go of how cool it sounded at desert daze. The vocal effects back then were so enveloping and gave it a borderline unhinged / tortured-mind feeling that I really liked.
