My most recent AC phase has been Campfire Songs. I love their early acoustic stuff and how ethereal and beautiful these songs are and how lovely their distant floating voices are in the recording. Funny that Nicolas Vernhes mixed the album after the fact cuz I thought it was all a single-take improv. I love that it was planned out beforehand but sounds spontaneous. Anyone know if there are any good interviews from this era about the making of the album, besides Panda's short takes?

According to wikipedia it was mixed in Avey's apartment in bushwick and mastered by Nicholas Verhnes.

Info in interviews are unfortunately scarce and what there is mentioned in interviews generally re-iterate the press release/what we already know.
