i don't think it released on DVD, and it's in 1080p on youtube so it'd probably look worse anyway.
i'm sad they didn't have a 4k video for it, i was spoiled by the Blue Planet 2 coral episode.

Yeah sorry I was just using the term DVD lazily. I have a copy on my computer but yeah it can be found on YouTube.

They do have a 4k version, they sent it to me for the Toronto premiere. The quality is mindblowing.

I think it's on vimeo? That'd be better than YouTube at least

Does anyone remember who that synth-pop musician was that Avey Tare name-dropped in a feature around 2009 or 2010? He was gushing about how the synth in one of her tracks "breathed"... she went by her first and last name, and she was active in the '70s or '80s

Sorry if mentioned elsewhere, but the movie Waves features animal collective extensively... very much like how I imagine we have all fantasized about them being used in films over the years... extremely uncanny and validating experience. The movie is great too

Characters singing and talking about Floridada and Bluish in-story, and Loch Raven at one point as soundtrack

O'Brien System is on right now, primarily an Avey/Bjorn Copeland session from 2014.
I think it's currently sampling Spyro chasing the hooded egg guy and the guy laughing. or I'm going crazy.
