Looks like Rusty and Noah are back in Big Bit right now. Wonder what they're up to now! Probably remixing parts of Homies i'd say is safe to assume?

Apparently he had a different track list in mind: “Peter (Berard) from Domino Records made a suggestion about the tracklist and I have to write it down because originally Master and Token were changed and I was reluctant to change the order of the songs to maintain the pyramidal order that I I had it in my head. But when he mentioned the change and we realized that those two songs can be interchanged, I listened to it several times and it turned out that they are interchangeable in a strange way and the album maintains the structure when you listen to it that way, so I was satisfied with both ways.”

He was also working with local musicians along with rusty on a ep that never got finished: “Rusty got the idea the day he arrived in Lisbon. He told me that I wanted to do two projects: this album and another formed by four cuts in which in all the songs were me and a local musician. In the end the latter did not occur, although we will probably try to continue it.”

I was just thinking about how great of a title Buoys is for the album considering that there's so much depth in the low end. Like the top half of a buoy in a body of water is what we hear surface wise (guitar/voice) and it brings our attention but when you play it on a system you're really absorbed by the low end like immersing yourself in the body of water. Or something like that, im dumb... just wanted to say that the title hints at the sound of the album. Similar to Person Pitch (choirs and sp- 303 effects).

I have to confess my first umpteen listens to this album were with only the left channel and i didnt notice untill i heard it in stereo umpteen more times then went back to one side mono

It's truly one of the best. It's been 5 months since the album was released and it still seems fresh. Token still gives me the chills

yea, let it simmer for nearly a year and i think this might be Noah's best work, or at least his second best. edgier AC fans will tell you this is trash but they never gave it a chance in the first place
