This is been on repeat for me these last couple of days. It brings me comfort and a reminder that there are still many beautiful things in our world, especially art and music.

Thank you again Deakin for a brilliant record. I hope I can see you perform live soon!

I remember when it came out Josh said it wasn't out of the question, but he wanted to wait a bit so the kickstarters didn't feel shafted

You tell me what’s wrong
But what’s right?
You’re seeing creation
That crushing never ending change is so full of love

I see what you mean, but given how low key the release was it actually did pretty well with reviews and interviews and stuff

Interestingly, he wrote a song called "Only An Avey Bear Tong" for Centipede Hz but they didn't include it on the album

Golden Chords is the strongest song on the album, that's why.

if anyone missed out on Deakin's Keep shoes the first time they've been reissued:

https://keepcompany.com/collections/ram ... mos-deakin

I just bought a replacement pair for mine which have started to wear thin from overuse, some of the best shoes I've ever had

they never punctured, the wear and tear mostly resulted in the fabric coming apart from the seam at the sole. I wore them all over the place though, both in the rainy city and on hikes/in sand/etc and they held up pretty well

I have an extra, unopened Harpy Sketches cassette because I bought two pairs of the shoes. does anyone on here want it? all I'd ask is that you pay for the shipping from Seattle

edit: it's been claimed!

it's in it's best intention i'd hope, even at least a CD or a 10" or something. Just something more than a preordered cassette select few ordered yknow?
Although, i don't know.
This doesn't look to be released via Domino though, they may have a distribution through their Shopify via My Animal Home, so that's a good chance.
Although, i don't know. Any other sauce for this you know of? either way - sleep cycle ALWAYS deserves a bump up in any feed. :)

Deakin on IG posted a video of Sleep Cycle being tested on Vinyl record. No need to even guess what the hell is up right now - It’s coming to vinyl very soon obviously! Such an amazing thing. Like he just read our minds hahah!
