I’m just giving a relisten to the side C of the live at 9:30 vinyl box set and there’s this super haunting sample stretched out and I’m kinda drunk but am going to see the boys in October in Tuscon, but this was helping me get stoked even tho I expect none of these will be played...but what a vinyl new town burnout/I think I can/pulleys/what would I want sky...I wanna remember when I trekked to humboldt and stood on the barrier only to see panda’s giant Led Zeppelin-sized bass drum sitting amongst a shaker and hand drums...then later in the week when they played Coachella under literally, giant video screen cubes...Im basically getting myself psyched to see the band live again soon and I think “live at 9:30” is a great way of seguing back into the vibes!
It’s september which means it’s almost October...get stoked!

Hit up 9:30 last night for Hot Chip. Probably the best live mixing/sound design from any venue I've ever been to....which I remember being the case when I caught PB's early Grim Reaper show there.

favorite venue for sure
to digress even further:
i remember being blown away by nomorerunnin in sept 07 there
the bass, the frogs, all of it...wow....
after all that energy from bro sport
dancer, grace & daily also hit the spot
i've been to every 930 AC show, and thats still the best

I remember during NTB there was a giant light behind panda that had white red or blue light and when it lit up I could just see a silhouette of the drums with his head turned up at the mic. Also the panda mask hanging on the drum set had a silhouette. Another vivid memory i have is closing my eyes during applesauce and the teeth lights would all flash one color at a time quickly moving from one color to the next and my entire field of vision would be enveloped with one color at a time. It was like color therapy on steroids
