Just a brief message to say thanks to jfw7 and everyone who ever contributed a recording or piece of info to this absolutely glorious thread and archive. It's been more important and life-changing to me than any collected works of art I've ever been lucky enough to experience. Thank you doesn't even come close. X

People swear by the Melkweg boot but I’m an idiot and never checked it out.

Melt festival from 2009 is really good

Posted this in the specific thread for the set, but I remastered the Music Box performance while we wait for an official recording. Mixed together two of the videos to form a stereo field and did some other minor mixing things to glue it all together.

thanks! adding it to the OP

i've started adding BOUY boots too. if anyone wants to take care of splitting the long ones that would be great (please use mp3splt to avoid re-encoding):

Thanks, man.

I'm really looking forward to a recording or boot of Sabbath, seriously unlucky that nobody has come across it on the shows which have been recorded.

I’m currently trying to obtain some more footage of their early performances. So far I’ve messaged the person who filmed “The Eye” interview with them (the interview from the Feels era in the van). And I’ve also managed to find someone who actually has footage of a HCTI era show (not the one on YouTube). Not sure if it’s video of the full performance but any footage from that era would be great.

oh baby that hcti footage would be sweet ! and the eye would be great because that was really early feels - and a portion of their shows where they were deak/panda/avey. they had video footage of 206 in the eye interview

thanks for everyone recording! getting things added the OP now. did anyone grab that amsterdam recording from a few posts up?

also, i made the horrifying realization that i've been carefully adding the apostrophe to "Good Lovin Outside" that doesn't belong... i'm always very careful about that kind of thing and i just had bad information. i probably won't reupload just for that, but i hope you all comb yr libraries and fix them!

that’s fine of course but I’m worried about it getting out of sync, not only from new recordings but also cleaning up tags or other mistakes on old ones. I’ve also been worried to share the mediafire directory links just in case that flags any suspicious activity, but that obviously doesn’t apply here. in any case if it’s something people want to use then go for it!

They just uploaded a new show from 2004 on their soundcloud, free to DL
Live at Neumo's in Seattle, WA on August 22, 2004 https://soundcloud.com/anmlcollective/a ... st-22-2004
It's not a soundboard or anything but still cool to get another show from that era

The show was the first time Scott Colburn heard any of the Feels songs. We had already asked him to record the album but we didn’t have demos and he wanted to hear the material first. He was playing in Climax Golden Twins at the time, who were also on the bill with us and Black Dice that night, so this was the test. Luckily, our set sealed the deal and we all moved into his house six months later to start tracking. A small part of us never left. If we’ve seemed a bit rushed after Seattle shows in the years since, it’s because we were in a hurry to get back there for another late night VHS horror movie screening. - Geologist

I don't think it's peebs, the drums seem to line up with the other instruments. I think avey was rushing a lot of his phrases. probably monitors like u said jfw7

What’s with that audio dip at the end of Purple Bottle? Part of the boot missing? Cut for peaking?

Also wow, way more efficient editor than I am JFW7 lol.

couple things

1. i have the sung tongs amsterdam show (from an expired link, still unsplit) downloaded but i'm not really sure what to do with it, so if someone could point me to a site to upload it on or something like that to get it on the OP, that would be cool, it's pretty nice quality

2. the first song in the bristol show from 2003-10-21 that's listed as untitled is actually a weird (or more normal, i guess) version of tuvin

3. i'm really curious as to where this version of always you came from. idk if i'm missing something but it's different from both of the 2 performances from 03/04 that are in the OP, and it very clearly transitions from playpen samples (which was only ever played in the WNYC spinning on air thing, i think?) so i'm thinking there might be a missing radio show where they played these two songs?

3. No doubt this is the Resonance FM recording lifted from a fan-made mix of early unreleased stuff.

uhh it's kind of a technical program no matter what. the way you give it split points is sorta silly

but if you have a mac it's available via homebrew (https://brew.sh/)

honestly though if you tell me the mp3 and exact minute-second-(tenth?) split points i don't mind running the command myself. the time consuming part is just finding all the splits
