Yeah, all of the earliest feels shows are without geo. la fondation cartier, electricity showroom, whatever else was early 2004

I didn't want to bump the new album thread without news but ive been thinking about how likely it is Deakin will be back and about his songwriting input. I would think he'll be back right? It would seem very strange to sit out another entire cycle. It'd be really cool to see him leading multiple songs. As much as I agree with what others have said about digging the more minimal stuff lately I really don't think I want a serene album as much as most. Like that'd be really good probably but what I want is for them to get truly out there again. I've been a fan for ten years and the whole time I've wanted them to make another album as bonkers as HCTI. Do we think they're getting too old for that kind of stuff? I hope not man Id love at least one more mindfuck like Indian.

I was reading through an old feels-era interview with noah and saw this:
"Davey and Joshmin have played with Gang Gang a couple of times when it sounded fun."
Do we know anything about this?

edit: from the same interview- "We came out of the dressing room singing and I was hitting a snare drum and we sort of marched around for a long time because we couldn’t find the stage. I think I hurt someone because I knocked into them hard. That was the first time we wore masks and makeup and all that shit."

Doesn’t look like a record store day release from them is coming this year

I hope within the next 6 months we either get an AC/Coralmorphologic audiovisual release or NPA vol. 2. The next proper studio album probably won’t come out that soon, but by September I don’t think it’s unrealistic to expect at least 30 minutes (i’m gunning for around 45 minutes) of new AC stuff

There's one guy on there who has the worst posts, and I was standing by him at the Sung Tongs show and he filmed EVERY song. He infuriates me

spiritposting is the absolute worst. i lasted a few days and then left the group.

some kid was slamming eucalyptus for not having enough “note layering” and got a high horse about how he only listens to dense albums...same kid hated loch raven and thought turn into something should’ve been two minutes shorter or some shit. i normally don’t get annoyed by mere opinions like that, but he was so obnoxiously smug about it.
