Yea, it sounds great through speakers

It's gives me outdoor vibes, like PP does. But not morning/afternoon springtime vibes. More like late summer dusk/bedtime vibes.

The rest of Panda Bear's studio recordings are more indoor sounding. Kinda claustrophobic at times

i think sunset has the most ideal structure for a pop song... there are like 2 verses and 2 choruses and the way they interlock is amazing, you hit one high in that song just to get ready for another, different one.

Sunset is still my least favorite but it's growing on me. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed with any of the tracks but Flight and Part of the Math are my jams.

huh that one got to me immediately, each melodic phrase is so perfectly concise and moving to me

prefer side b at this point i guess if i was to compare, but the build-up of PotM and Shepard are the only less than amazing stretches of the EP to me, tho i still like them.

pbvsgr is great, and it was so cool to hear clean but still totally unique psych production/sounds but i feel like this sound is an even better fit for him cuz its like he took the pbvsgr live energy and translated into slightly more minimal yet structurally more complex songs. and its perfect..

A girl I started seeing came over on Saturday and smoked me out for the first time in like 4 years. Put this record on. It was an experience.

Does that mean a blowie? Or is it like a rusty trombone? Either way, sounds great.

I totally meant smoked a bowl, but you're both correct. I got a really good laugh out of Stanshant's post.

This would probably never happen, but I’d love it if he re-released you can count on me with the stark production technique of this ep. like the live performances of it he did recently. barely any guitar until the end, booming bass, stripped down vocals. the way he sang it in Lisbon is really surprising and beautiful, its more honest than it is overly earnest (like it was on tomboy if you ask me)

I wasn't super into that stripped down version of YCCOM but I only heard the iPhone boot of Desert Daze. Maybe I'll go back and check the higher quality boot of that show sometime. Hope we get some good boots from this tour

Interesting release. Fun listen but not super emotional like all my fave ac related releases. Liked flight the best. Had some really cool parts, liked the production a lot, but really it was nothing too crazy IMO.

funny, to me that little section in flight without the kickdrum before the "no way know how" sounded a lot like the outro to this side of paradise.

The wind samples on Flight remind me of how he used similar samples on Tropic of Cancer and parts of Swallow at the Hollow
