I was wondering if he'd have any additional musicians on tour with him, but I think it'll be cool to see him playing solo. I bet the Eucalyptus tracks will be reworked a bit, I assume if he's playing solo he'll be using sequencers/samplers rather than just guitar, so maybe the songs will sound kinda different. Plus he's probably itching to rework them since they're 3 years old at this point. Also cool to hear he'll be playing some old stuff, would be sweet to hear Cemeteries

album won't stop growing on me. first handful of listens were a bit strange because of how to me there are some pretty new vibes on this for an Avey-related project that it has taken me a while to wrap my head around it, but the dust is settling now and oh man really great album... incredible to see this guy continue to develop his style... the flow is really great too... tons of songs and yet the flow feels super organic cuz of LOoO and Dr aw one for J kind of spacing out... first 3 tracks, and then In Pieces ---> Selection and then the last 3 though are pretty amazing runs for me... Also Boat Race keeps growing on me. there's something kinda creepy about it in an awesome way.

I have not seen a single person not diggin the record on the forum. It's been out for while now. For the grim reaper and painting with there were a lot of person starting to express their doubt about the records after 2 or 3 weeks, once the excitement is gone. But for this one, nothing. Or maybe I missed them.

I think's just aight; I like Sleep Cycle a lot better. In fact, I like every other AC solo album better than this one, including DT.

eh yes, this album is recieved extremely well here but i think why this album hasn't been a big hype is
1. there's never been that much for Avey's solo stuff
2. after CHZ/PW people have seem to have jumped off the AC-hype train anyway
3. the release was pretty sudden
4. the album, although I think is my favorite solo record behind PP and maybe Sleep Cycle, is very subtle, nuanced and doens't feel focused, in a way that it doesn't have a clear shape or colour, it's a certain stretch in his creative elasticity, also it's his most personal and introvert record.
5. the album needs your attention


i love it, I love to hear that after Sleep Cycle, now also Avey makes a record that breathes and isn't afraid to go anywhere.

i reeeeeally like this album, i cant even say much about it i just really enjoy it when i play it. finally been playing the vinyl and its especially nice. coral> july> when u left me is a craaaazzzy good side. that and the first one destroy me and the middle is soooooo nice too, witch those great spacier parts.. feel like PJ and roamer are these really out there parts of side c and then boat race has this kind of fun and then suddenly spooky vibe. idk im so into it. fuk
