Golden Chords works in standard tuning, but I'm not much of a guitarist so I'll leave the exact transcription to someone else. To get close, play these and fingerpick until it sounds right. For the overdubs in the chorus, get another guitar and play it with your feet. This will require some practice.

Shit, I just got that. Great wordplay. Made me very very angry.
(For the record, it's in a major key, but you can figure it out, dear reader. I believe in you.)

It looks like no one has even thanked you yet! Thank you!! This has been very nice to play this afternoon, I think I will maybe memorize it and play it for lots of people.

with all of deakin's beautiful guitar playing on harpy i was wondering if anyone has been able to figure out some of what he's playing? would love to learn this song. all i can figure out so far is during "but if it's gone let it go"/"it's just a song let it go" is that the high e string is going back and forth between 8th fret (C) and 6th fret (Bb)

Can't figure out if they're major/minor/whatever, but Man of Oil:
C# B D# C# and if you just play the root of the chords with the fifth as the syncopated higher note (like a bossa or samba rhythm), you get pretty close.

Here's the intro and first "chorus" or bridge or whatever you'd like to call it to Selection of a Place. Standard E tuning.

It's a rough start but it's something to go off of.

Oh boy Pine, I'd love to see your tab for In Pieces. I decided that's the first song I'd introduce someone to the new album with... though that'll change like every day or week I'm sure and for each different person.. lol

THink I might cop a guitar and learn. Pretty much to just play some AC tunes as a hobby. Are there some easy ones? Is this something you would recommend I do?

Do it!
Kids on Holiday is all one chord. Guys Eyes and Banshee Beat have just 2 chords. Leaf House has like 5 chords but they're all open chords (easy for a beginner)
Queen in My Pictures, Good Lovin Outside, and Visiting Friends all have only 2 chords too, but they can be hard to play because there's not a consistent rhythm and it's more just like random strumming

definitely!! a lot of songs on mpp would be pretty easy (summertime clothes, bluish, taste), grass is pretty straightforward, peacebone, last night at the jetty, etc...
