I recorded Water Curses and put it on YouTube but no bootleg from me at least. Did anyone here wait after the show to meet AC?

I was out with a number of people until around 1:20 AM when Avey came out to meet us. I got a picture with him and told I've been seeing they're shows since Strawberry Jam. That was a cool moment and nice of him to come out and talk to fans after the show.

haha no shit man, i was there too! i was in the white AC sweater. actually i think we were talking. i was behind you in line and we talked about their tunes with the really awake kid haha. we were talking about boots and stuff man!

Cool man. I may have been the real awake dude lol. I think the other dude was the guy who biked there, I got there a little later to wait for the band but I remember you dude. It was cool to hang out and meet Avey there!

that was one of the best AC shows i think i've ever seen. aver was in incredible form and all of their voices were totally on point. i just moved to nyc and i must say the crowds here suck really hard...just a bunch of people on their phones only looking up to take a snapchat and make sure their friends know they're at an animal collective show. was disappointed in that but it didn't take away from that incredible performance! so happy a boot is coming soon

Although none of the AC shows I've seen here have had great crowds, that was the worst I've seen so far

But I mean Terminal 5 is the worst so I wasn't really surprised

i saw deerhunter at webster hall recently and it was also pretty bad. i'm not sure if its nyc or just this sort "pitchfork" culture where people just follow around a scene weather they give a shit about it or not.

I kind of agree on NYC crowds but I've been to some shows where they're better than others, but I also agree that Terminal 5 is one of the worst venues, I'm not sure what it is about it may be partly due to the size and layout of the venue.

terminal 5 is a horrible venue but honestly this was the best crowd i've experienced at an ac show. maybe it was just where i was standing, but there was a ton of dancing and singing around me, and i had a great time. nyc crowds can be a little still, but this was definitely an exception to that, for me.

Closer to the front is always the best. The people around me weren't bad but there was one stiff tall guy that was annoying but he left halfway through the show.

yeah, i was up at the front/middle, right next to the pit that opened up right next to me and my group in the middle of On Delay. so i guess i was just lucky to get there on the early side.

also ya where i was standing people were kinda limp. i was so sad! this one guy was visibly distraught that they werent playing any mpp songs early in the set. at encore he literally yelled out "MY GIRLS!!!...COME ON!!!" lol i was laffing. the entire venue erupted at the mpp encore tho so watevs...the show was beyond amazing though WITHOUT A FUCKING DOUBT. also the crowd at irving plaza this year wasnt that bad!!!
