Sonic give us a list of bands/albums that you are listening to recently. Maybe something with a similar feeling to these new songs. Thanks :p

Nothings ever quite as easy as that ...
I dont know anything that fits that bill.... ...honestly....
but i'd suggest thomas bangalter's solo work ,
MGMT congratulations - and the Air remix of 'it's working' . What's going on ? By Marvin Gaye
I hear a new World by the Blue Men (joe meek) , smiley smile & side 2 of Today by the Beach Boys
Save for a rainy day by Jan & Dean , Emperor Tomato Ketchup by Stereolab , Mama you've been on my mind by the Caravelles, and Poeme electrinique by Varese .......
Also for the neigh sayers , there are two full runthroughs in hi- fidelityville of mr Noah's ( heyheyhey) ATP showdowns.......but i'm not sure you'll need them ....but for completism maybe .....??
Full Kerpower pk x

but mostly thru I dont like braggy stuff & fighty stuff....not that thats everything for sure i kno
I dug some trip-hop stuff in the '90's -Massive attack , Portishead , Dela Soul .
I dig some GFKilla- 12 'reasons to Die ' w Adrian Younge I really like from a couple of years back ......
I like Flying Lotus' vibe a lot ....been trying to track down the last EP I dont have ...that i listen to a fair amount in the right zon....
Otherwise i'm more old school Grandmaster Flash & The Sugarhill stuff . 'Scorpio' - stuff like that- i guess its hip hop ??

Hi Pete, on a tangent, I saw a Spectrum cover of 'True Love Will Find You In The End' on a compilation recently and really enjoyed it. Are you a Daniel Johnston then? I heard a kind of country cover by Papa M (one of the guys from Tortoise) before I knew who the original was by and it blew me away in my early teens. I'd forgotten all about it until I came across your version the other day. Amazing song.

Yo stan
Yeah , i love DJ .....
I did that in '90 or '91 right when it came out on his 1990 lp - pure ore...
Dave Pajo is a good egg too . I toured with him / tortoise when i was playing with Stereolab in the mid '90's .
Aerial M were great live as well .....

Daniel has a suite way of saying prosaic things beautifully....
Good times ......

One of the best tips I got from those mixes was Amen Dunes, for fans of Kurt Vile.... Grab the album 'Love'. The Sand Pebbles also feature on one which blew me away cos they're a pretty underground psych band from Melbourne, but i guess Sonic has his bits firmly in the Goldilocks, and they hit that spot
