Hey guys - I'm going thru old boots and revisiting some awesome 2007 shows and noticed that this version of from a beach has different lyrics than the BBC session one - the lyrics are very sweet -
I wanted to make sure that this is a version of from a beach and that I'm not just blanking on what song this is cuz I feel braindead hah

huh interesting, these seem to be the same lyrics as the ones he used for the version in the d j set in 2014 and they're even easier to understand in this recording. these lyrics fit well with dancer and bluish, I wanna transcribe these for the lyric wiki at some point...

o weird, never heard this one. 2 pretty different sets of lyrics for this one then... makes it seem like avey and them rlly tried to get it to work in different ways before giving up on it (on including it in mpp/fbk i mean)

panda's back up vox seem kind of .... off in a lot of this. but that was panda was kinda pitchy live, or at least thats how it seems in the boots, cuz hes like perfect now live...



man still think mpp/fbk would b even more incredible with a studio FaB

which version do y'all think should be the "main" copy for Maya/Beach? http://collectedanimals.org/lyrics/Maya looks like the bbc version, but if the dj set version uses the coronet lyrics maybe we prefer those? otoh usually the last revision seems the most "official" maybe?

glad you appreciate! i can't decide which would be the official and which would be the alternative, i feel like there are good arguments for both (beach lyrics are most well known / used in the bbc verison /// dj set which uses the other lyrics is most recent) maybe they could both be on the same page? if i had to choose i'd go with beach lyrics as 'official' and the other set of lyrics as alternate mainly because the former are more prominent / the latter kind of obscure
