for some reason think this one might be interesting to you guys if you haven't seen it yet. feels like one of the more candid interviews i've done.

Thanks for sharing that Josh!

My brother gifted me a book recently that has helped me confront some of the same demons you've struggled with; I wonder if you've read it. It's called "The War of Art." Beyond it's hokey title it was a real "slap in the face" for me. It's author Steven Pressfield calls anything that prevents you from doing your work, Resistance. He lays it out as an eternal duel between Resistance and creation, and touches on the muses, consciousness, the spiritual nature of creation, the ways Resistance will go to great lengths to stop you from doing what you were born to do.

It really helped me to define my fear as something external, something NOT me, deliberately trying its damnedest to sabotage my work. I even gave it a name: Bob (fans of Twin Peaks will get it). I'm not the enemy anymore. It's this dark entity Bob, and I'm beating this sunnuvabitch.

That's awesome ingenue!!

I've heard high praise for "Art of War," but didn't know it addressed topics like the one of fear that you mentioned. I'll have to check it out soon then

just got an update from keep on the shoes:

We're writing with an update on your Keep x Deakin shoes. The goods have landed and are clearing customs and will be delivered to our warehouse next week!

Please keep an eye out next week for tracking information. Our shipping team will be processing in the shoes and cassingles, and packing them as quickly as possible.

Also included will be a 4 color lyric sheet featuring artwork drawn by Deakin. And as a special bonus, the cassingle will feature not one but two (!) versions of a brand new track from Deakin.

Thank you so much for your endless patience and kind support of this project. If you have any questions or need to make any last minute changes to your shipping address please let us know as soon as possible.

Thank you!
Keep

sounds pretty good. cant wait.

That is bizarre, hopefully it's just a matter of them having received the stock and no longer being able to fulfill new orders (I imagine these were limited to the initial # of orders received).

Fingers crossed there is some other update or shipping confirmation soon as it's already the middle of the week!
