Anyone on the board have a couch to crash on? Looking to come to the show from MA and not get a hotel. It's a long drive home after midnight. Can confirm non wook status before the show.

I think I have a place to stay in Brooklyn, can anyone from the city comment on what it would take to get back to Brooklyn from this town?

i'm pretty sure a bus/train from sayreville to nyc wouldn't run that late unfortunately :/ you could do uber but that'd be pretty expensive i suppose

Check out the mass transit section here

http://www.starlandballroom.com/venue-info/directions

you can take the train in and get a cab from the south amboy station to venue. last train leaves for penn station at 1 am. 15 minute drive from the station to venue, uber shouldn't be too much

good show

love bagels as opener and burglars as closer. avey seems to have lots of energy, really screamy set where it was more mellow towards the beginning of the tour. really like watching this set evolve.

Thought that was hilarious too - first tour without any voice/health-related cancellations in how long?

Crowd energy was insane for this one - 10x more than Austin. Some of the loudest cheering and craziest moshing I've seen at an AnCo show. Really really phenomenal.

Such a good show! I thought the crowd energy was perfect- so into it not so obnoxious that I went home back and blue. It was redemption for the Boston crowd for me.
Avey seemed to catch that energy, too. He sounded great, I thought- especially on Bees. His vocals on Bees this time really caught me. I wonder if Noah's voice is tired from the touring. He sounded good but his voice cracked a bunch of times and he was coughing a lot. Highlights for me were Bagles, Hounds, Buglars, and of course Alvin. Bagels as the opener melted me.
And getting my stickers. That was a highlight, too. Now it's time to pick my next road trip show... Hmmm

ya it was great, great energy from band and crowd. and didnt they play Lying in the Grass or did i totally make that up? And ya 3rd Bees I've seen now and the best yet... there were some fucking insane samples in it that made me fucking lose it.

I got to see the first night of the tour in philly and this which was the last of this leg so it was definitely fun to compare them. they seemed tightest here for sure (tho philly was magical cuz of the freshness/surprises). so fuckin good... love their set-pool so much

also some sick transitions that almost sounded like full songs cuz avey was singing a lot... would love if this was recorded but i guess i have the fonda/manchester set to dig into..

o ALSO, burglars was fucking crazy. SO good as the last song of the encore.. it almost got me more hyped than anything. kind of reminded me of Slippi.

Seemed like they were legitimately jamming during the transitions. Like they were improvising beats w/ samples & vocals while building to the next track. Was fascinating to watch.

This... To the power of 10! As we were driving back to NH today that was the primary take from last night. Towards the beginning of the tour they were still developing these songs live. last night seemed to show how comfortable they are in this set . They can really air them out and rip into some jams between. Maximized the whole experience for me. Loved hearing them dive in and make the songs breathe more.
No LITG that I remember but I am old so maybe I just forget.
