Hi josh
I'm listening to a few live shows of yours now
I wasnt around back when you did the kickstarter, but I just wanted to thank you for making this available for all
I plan on buying it as soon I can. I've always been a huge fan of yours ever since I got into the band
what football club do you support?
cheers

So excited for this, thank you deak!
I remember I got to meet you for a minute before the 2011 arcata, CA show when I was hanging outside the venue by your tour bus. You came out and I, like a giddy school girl, rushed up to you to shake your hand and tell you how awesome you were. I asked you what kind of stuff you guys would be playing, as it was the first or second show off the pre-CHZ tour, and you just smiled real big and said it was gonna be some really cool new stuff and awesome sounds. Seeing you jump around stage and jam out hard really made the concert for me. I was wearing raccoon facepaint and dancing like a crazed plant/banshee hybrid.
Thanks for being you. You're a real nice guy!

I was under the impression this was self released and not under any label. That's why he's not mass producing anymore physical copies...?

ooh, according to a comment on the kickstarter someone's already got it! While I didn't back the kickstarter I'm excited for everyone that'll be getting their packages in the mail soon!

Ah, I really hope my package has the wind at its back en route to California.
Based on the campaign count there were around 111 backers for the physical release, I forget but are we all getting the book now as well?

So my package arrived!....at my parents house in Virginia, where I haven't lived for seven years...even though I completed the survey with my New York address. But it exists, and I'll have it soon! Plus, it prompted a great conversation with my dad about how cassette tapes are "cool" now.
But either way, that means people should be getting their goodies very soon. Can't believe it's happening.

^ do you know if the book was included also?
edit: this has me kind of worried that mine might have gone to my old address also despite updating the survey.
double edit: it looks like I also sent an updated address via Kickstarter messages, hopefully that was seen!

I was hoping I'd get the book too, but from the looks of the package I think it is just the cassette. To be fair, I was a $50 backer, and it wasn't until you contributed $150 or more that a book was included in the reward. Hoping someone who gets the book can share some images, I'd love to see what it looks like.
edit: Sam, I also messaged my updated address, in addition to completing the survey, and it still went to an old address. So you may want to send a message to see if you can check where they sent it.

LostWisdom - I don't have any of that yet, since it was delivered at my parents place they are just going to send it to me, unopened. So all those juicy details remain a mystery for now...
Josh - absolutely no worries, I completely understand it was a pretty hefty logistical task so stuff was bound to fall through the cracks. And I think I've changed addresses 3-4 times over the years so it can be tough keeping track. I'm just happy to be getting the package this week.
Thanks again for all of the updates/interaction, and can't wait to listen to the jams.

Thanks Josh! I have absolutely zero connection to my previous address so that's a huge relief. I'm beyond psyched to receive my package in a few days!
