Hi guys!

Are any of you going to this show next week? I'm super psyched!

Also, I was wondering if any of you would be able to carpool? My girlfriend and I can leave from either downtown Tacoma, or Olympia. I go to Evergreen if anybody's up around there.

Thanks!

I will be there (but I am coming from Seattle, so no help on the carpool request). Going down for the Portland show on Saturday too.

The Neptune is my favorite venue in Seattle, sooo excited!

there sure are a lot of people here

M.E.S.H. - Epithet on the preshow music was cool tho, i saw someone in the crowd trying to dance to it and they had an understandably difficult time in the second half

ratking were cool tho they played a long set, I actually jumped out for a smoke in the middle cause I'm anxious about SO MANY PPL. like goddamn I thought at least with the backlash "hey now it won't be so crowded", NOPE. but yeah ratking, they actually kinda made the most sense as an opener of any of the bands I've seen open for AC, the interplay between the vocalists felt like "yeah these dudes probably like AC". they had more than one song that seemed to be abt how it was cold outside but none of them were as good as Ludacris - Cold Outside. still cool stuff tho.

also the thing abt all of the ppl here, are young ppl more wholesome now? do none of them need to go drink and smoke and pee now? cause it felt like when there would be the change of bands, there would be a fluidity in the crowd because ppl had vices to feed, and I could sneak in and get a good place but it all feels so solid here.

im still in a cool spot and psyched for these guys to come on.

so im pretty sure that there was a new song first I haven't kept up with the boots. but immediately I felt like I needed to move and that I was surrounded by ppl who just wanted a cool backdrop for a conversation. So I found a spot down on the bottommost area. although there were wall people in front of me I still ended up in a line of people who were into physically quantizing the music via dancing, so that was cool. I saw a woman squeeze thru the wall people, like really force it into a pocket they were selfishly blocking. that woman is my hero. I was really into my spot tho, got way into the music. It started with so much painting with stuff, with lots of stretching out on the way in and out of songs. natural selection was turned into an alltime great ac jam, really incredible. Burglars was explosive and Bagels was bumping. I wasn't so into the way they started going into Loch raven but when ponytail bro came in on the drums it was incredible. I'm a little bummed there was no recycling or on delay, but its pretty easy to get over. Because the bulk of the show was focused on expanding the PW material, pulling out and extending grooves and bringing a compelling forcefulness to all of it, like I'd have never imagined Hocus Pocus could hit that hard. and the extended intro on vertical with aveys effects vox, so good. this is probably really disjointed but I felt compelled to write something because it was really good.

That was probably my favorite time I've seen them since they toured for Feels. Fucking incredible amounts of creativity and muscicianship. The transitions between songs were mini masterpieces. It was like visiting an old friend I hadn't seen in years. During Alvin Row I felt myself starting to cry. We are really lucky to be alive and experience a band as special as this. Just when I thought the world couldn't get any worse, AC reminded me once again that there's something truly amazing out there to cherish and hold onto. True beacons of positive light.

This was definitely in the top 2 for their shows that I've seen. So impressed with the stage set-up, the visuals, and their performances. The vocals were spot-on the whole night which is a feat in and of itself.

Not sure which new songs they played but I heard two that I didn't recognize, and they were both amazing. Also the intro to Natural Selection was unreal and completely changed the whole song for me. Also Hocus Pocus and Summing the Wretch basically solidified those two as my favorites from PW, their live energy was so incredible and enveloping. And they played Bees!

Great show all around. Excited to check out the NY boots now that it won't spoil things.

really great show....unfortunately pulled a really bad all-nighter w/ too much Wired Energy 3x the nite b4 and felt super ill and panicked most of the day w/ too much inexplicable foot and spine pain to be able to go down there and dance, so that sux, thank god for that balcony seating.
@Tap, i noticed that too, how it was super packed down there and didn't even seem to dissipate much after ratking.... Weird

also sux that i had to go w/ my super fried incoherent high school friend and his lax bro cousin rather than ppl i feel comfortable around, but hey, im grateful ......

burglars was fucking sick and was the real stand-out to me, also was great to see bees & loch raven. Alvin row nearly brought a tear 2 my eye.. awesome visuals & btwn-song transitions....yeah that was just all-around an A+ show

new ones were so well performed

ratking also ruled, was a super fun set they did

danced with some people in a parking lot afterwards

Wow, what an incredible show! It was seriously soooo good. Their voices were spot on which really impressed my girlfriend and me. The transitions were insane and the energy was perfectly balanced between relentless force and moments from breathing. Potentially the best show I've been to. I love the album but I feel like the live versions add this organic quality to them which raise them to even a higher plane. Also, I got to meet Panda after which was super cool! He's really friendly. Couldn't be any happier with this experience! Definitely catch this tour everybody!
